Mammoths are confirmed, and I wouldn't doubt some sort of sabertooth tiger.

I'd prefer it if Bethesda took prehistoric creatures and twisted them into something unique that fits the Elder Scrolls universe. I mean, the Clannfear is basically a dinosaur, but altered just enough to give it an otherworldly feel.

If we're getting things like mammoths and sabertooth tigers, I hope they don't look exactly like they do in our world. Give the tigers horns or something, but don't go with Oblivion's generic mountain lions and bears.

Granted, the wolves in the screenshots look very unique and interesting, so I'm not too concerned.

U should realize though that the normal stuff is what makes the fantasy stuff so special. If I have a tough fight with a couple of bears, then when I see a couple of minotaurs, i'll be way more freaked out. but i do see what you're saying.

also, idk bout anything before like ice age animals. I think it'd be a little weird to see a t-rex or triceratops or stegosaurus or something. but i could see like a velociraptor type. they could attack in packs of like 4 or 5. that'd be epic.

dinos = cold blooded...skyrim = cold?

prehistoric mammals make sense.

would love to see some fur covered raptor type that hunted in packs though. furry deathclaws?

They can always twist around the whole cold/warm blooded issue. IIRC, there is still debate going on about certain species of dinosaurs being warmblooded or not coldblooded. Anyway, they did it with the Argonians, right?

Well, in the concept art of the dead Mammoth it has 4 tusks intstead of two, kind of like the Mumakil from lotr.

I would love to see a prehistoric elk and beaver! We saw normal sized elk walking through the forest, but on the tundra giant herds of massive elk would be awesome! Everything was bigger in the ice-age!

I sincerely hope to see whooly rhinos.

We already did this. In Morrowind. They were called cliff racers...

I am for the fur-covered Raptor idea, that would be epic! Maybe similar to a clannfear in stature and physique, but with an entirely new look! That would be cool!

Dinosaurs please.... maybe not anything like from jurassic park but some sort of large reptile creature with an attitude problem would be cool (not incliuding the dragons)

.... and before anyone says anything, the Argonians don't count....

.... maybe cliff racers they look prehistoric....

Dinosuars are actually Dragons in real life, thats what they were called thousands of years ago, the word "dinosuar" did not come about until sometime in the mid 1800's, this is fact and you can look it up they were called dragons and there was also giants in real life back millions of years ago called the Nephilim in Greek for Giant and they stood 36 feet tall, look them up on Youtube their bones have been dug up. So Skyrim does have prehistoric creatures :whisper:
