One thing ive learnt is the majority of people who get the game early will give it bad reviews, this happened with halo 2 as well. This may be bcause the people who get it early are the ones who overhyped it to the extreme which is why they put the effort in to get it early or it could just be a coincidence. Either way everyone is entitled to their opinion as others are entitled to disagree (even though most of us havent played it and cant really argue effectively).
We know there is a 360 release day patch coming out which claims to solve graphical and networking problems, so its unfair to comment on the 360 versions graphics right now. To be honest gameplay clips I saw looked fairly good anyway. As for AI i'd like to know what difficulty those bots were set to (unless that was mentioned and i missed it :/ ) However I plan on playing the game with a full team of 8 online against other people, so bots arent a big problem for me anyway and ive played with some pretty heinous bots in my time and still enjoyed it.
The only real issues that concern me are Gameplay - do all the features spoken about work, are there any easily exploited flaws, are the maps and objectives interesting enough to keep you immersed for a whole match - and Networking - I go into a game expecting some lag, I played halo 2 back in the day against all kinds of distant peoples and still enjoyed the 1 in 4 or so games that had a good connection so I can put up with it being far from perfect, thats just a part of console gaming. Unless I get host
.
In the first case, ive seen videos explaining how the games objectives, movement system and general gameplay works and im happy, or at least happy with what ive seen obviously without playing the game myself I cannot be satisfied. In the second case, ive got no choice but to wait and see what reviews come in once the games released and how it feels once i get my hands on it myself.
Basically what im saying is, im waiting for some reviews from gaming review sites and magazines and to just get hold of the game myself.
