Premium map with pre-order of Skyrim

I'm predicting a little dragon statue, an artbook and this burlap map for the CE.

Not much really.

What will a premium map have that a normal map won't?

Is it going to be made out of a Dunmers skin?

Premium will be Burlap Paper as to the normal one being normal paper. Basicly it'll be a better quality one that doesn't wear like normal paper.

Is this for ALL pre-order retailers in Europe or just specific ones? I've had mine pre-ordered on Amazon UK for quite a while now and I don't really want to swap at the moment seeing how it's less than 40 quid there.

Based on what they said, the first games they manufacture and package are getting packaged with the pre-order. Once that runs out, you're stuck with normal maps. If the pre-orders exceed the supply, even pre-orders may get non-premium maps. If pre-orders don't exceed the supply, there will be people who don't pre-order that will ALSO get the premium map. It's a supply and demand thing. They'll make X number and when X runs out, everything after that is a Oblivion-style map.

In some ways I think that's good. Morrowinds is great and all, but it's not so much like a map from the world as this one, where you can believe it was cartographed (word?) in Skyrim.

The great thing about the Morrowind map was it's level of detail. I consulted it constantly as I played. I think the colors probably helped make it clear and informative. I don't mind beige, but I'd much rather have a useful map than one that's just a souvenir.
