...given there's been no reply here or a change on retailers' sites, I figured I would check to see if Crytek has any update on the pricing issue?
Console games cost more money because the company that develops the consoles (Sony & Microsoft), have a fee for every game being sold on their platform, so game developers decide to raise prices to compensate for the loss in revenue.
Ok, for the last time, MINE is the PC version!
Every other studio (and virtually every other branch of EA) always charge less for the PC edition than on consoles. I don't care if it costs more on the console; I'm a mod developer and work with the tools so, technically, anything that happens on 360 and PS3 won't even factor into it for me. I simply don't see why I should be charged the same price for a collector's edition on PC that is normally cheaper.
