I dont preorder games anymore, but i will buy it on like the first week. I just dont want to get a game only to find out that i cant log in because the servers are down and then stare at the box with a really sad look on my face.

If I buy it, it will be long after there are player reviews out there saying it's good. If I thought for a second I could pay one price and actually get the whole game I would definitely get it, but I'm not going to buy something like this and then find out I'm missing pieces and have to pay more, especially when I'm already paying monthly for it.
If I could get it as a stand alone single player game I'd buy it day one. About the only thing that ticked me off about SWtOR was all those other players messing around in my game and destroying my role-playing immersion.
Yeah.
Oh mighty Cartmanez. I am here to tell you that I have succeeded in pre-ordering the Digital Imperial edition. (no room for a Molag Bal statue... i wish i had, damn guitars err'where :l)
I never pre-order unless I know what I'm getting.
I pre-ordered ESO's physical imperial edition twice.
I'm kind've in this boat. Regardless of the fact that it's of the MMO genre, it's still an Elderscrolls game. And my expectations of price vs content are very high.
Where i differ is on the single player experience though.
One of my favorite things about the series is how much of a success it has become and the fact that I can share my enjoyment of this series with other players online. Before I could only do that here, on these forums. Now there is a world dedicated to that. That gets me really excited.
EDIT: Just to stay on topic. In regards to me preordering this game. I did not.
I pre-ordered the Digital Imperial Edition. Which is typical for me. Every MMO I've played in the last 7-8 years has had a CE and I've bought it.
Preordered physical Imperial edition and not a moment to soon and my wife the digital edition
I'll wait to learn about the game before I decide if I'm going to play.
If this is an issue, join an RP guild and only play with those members. If you decide to get that game and play in the Daggerfall Covenant, look me up
The first patch is certain to be Day 1 Most likely Day 1 of early access, and then again Day 1 of full release. And quite possibly patches every few days for a couple weeks after release. That's kinda the norm these days.
So, if you wait for the first patch, that's the same as buying at release.
Or did you mean the first big CONTENT patch? Which they've said will be a month to six weeks out?
Anyway, I preordered. Played the beta, no doubts at all. If you didn't though, waiting makes sense
I pre-ordered the normal edition, then upgraded to Imperial edition the same day it was announced.
Pre-ordered the retail Imperial edition. Can't wait for ESO and hope everything goes well. Though I know how the OP feels if servers are constantly up and down during the first few days of launch.
Pondered over which edition to get over a few days. I finally made a judgment call last Friday when I ordered the Digital Imperial Edition (DIE)
I preordered because my favorite character is an Imperial and when GMG offered that 20% discount I couldn't resist.
I pre-order the digital. Where i live it would probably cost like 200 bucks ;P
"I plan to pre-order, just in the pre-pre-order stage. Let me pay my holiday off first" - option 4 (tick)
I've preordered, I had the spare cash on me and I'm the type of person that if I wait I'll only end up splurging that spare cash on something else. So I'm all locked in and won't have to worry about this for a couple of months now.
Picked "waiting for the first patch" as it was the only option that possibly hovers around waiting a week or two.
I'd like to read the reviews that come out, see what players are raving and ranting about, and allow some time for the community to post finer details on the skill trees as that may influence my character build choice.
pre-ordered physical CE, which is definitely NOT typical for me. Every other CE I've seen has less/less cool stuff for more money. The only exception was the Rift digital CE, which again, had good stuff for good price.
Perorder the ESO physical imperial edition for ps4
