Pressured into choosing a side

I found that siding with the 'yes man' robot very unsatisfying if you choose to eliminate all the faction leaders in the process. It just makes sense there wouldn't be any stability afterward.

IIRC

You Choose between House and Legion when you goto the Bunker at Legion Fort.
If you destroy the bunker = Legion
If you don't = House

Not sure where NCR and House divide happen, it might be with the Boomers, but I think it has to do with following the Ambassador's route.

[Edit]

Wild Card is you becoming your own power in the Mojave. By killing House and assuming control of his robotic army and killing/converting the minor factions to your side.

When I went to the fort I wasn't really prepeared for it. I ended up want to bust Benny out (strange that when he was the one shooting you in the head to start with).
But with no pip boy to give him, the only option was to untie him. Of course that wasn't fun with only a pocket knife to show for (of sorts).

Needless to say, after a lot of frustration, I left the fort as a smoking ruin with dead bodies piled up everywhere, Benny running off, and what happens next, no idea....

As for the boomers, well when got the choice to ask if they wanted to support me/ncr, I went for the "me" choice. and for the ambassador I believe he said something about it was good they was supporting "us" and the response you could do was "me" something..

I'm just basicaly stomping around, chewing bubble gum and blowing stuff up. (and do what feels right). I guess that could wreck some quests here and there...

I'm not sure what to pick anymore....NCR seems too obvious(Feels like how Fallout 3 treated BoS) and the other than leaving House as he is the only other option is the Evil Caesers Legion.

My main problem is how Wild Card seems to lean towards "Take over Vegas" which isnt neutral it's the greed route right?

We need a new option:

Mission:

*Meet Caeser,House and The NCR leader and discuss a partnership
*Help Caeser,House and NCR to rid the world of "meanies"
*Attend the official opening of the Caeser,House and NCR orphanage and free healthcare for all center.

Agreed...though, at least they give you a choice this time around.

Is there an option to go Wildcard and not take over Vegas? What if I just want to get rid of all the negative influence and continue wandering the wastes?

I'd love to be able to go the House route - generally I like what he's trying to achieve. But then playing through it I found he wanted me to wipe out the BoS and I couldn't do it so I'm going NCR - at least they offer a diplomatic solution when it comes to the BoS.

Keep in mind that NCR actually is a "good" nation. Their goal is really to civilize the world. Unlike the BoS in Fallout 3, the NCR have a Dark Side as well.

Like the Ranger who wanted you to Psycho up his troops and charge into town and kill the NCR hostages while they are at it.

The Bitterwater Incident

The Lieutenant who wanted to torture but couldn't do it due to regulations so instead have you do it

etc. etc.

There are quite a few ruthless individuals in NCR - unlike the BoS in F3.

Did you talk to the NCR Ambassador at the Embassy in New Vegas? He starts it.

Do not do Part 3 of House Always Wins, since I believe, that is the branch between NCR / (House and Wild Card)

Why isn't there a "Get Caeser and NCR to kiss and make up while House founds the United Wastelanders front"?

Because that's kind of like asking Hitler and Churchill to engage in a torrid love affair while DuGalle provides fine French wine. Every faction wants something different for the wasteland, and what one faction wants another considers horrible.

Same problem with my game. I dont have any quest activated from NCR list and i never met NCR ambasador. I cleared whole Legion camp, including Caesar so only choice that i have now is House and wild card. NCR choice is probably totally bugged for me now.

Be your own boss.

Murder everyone.

Represent! I flogged too much stuff from goodsprings (I'm used to carrying stuff, okay?) and they...tried to evict me. Anyone who pulls a bead in my general direction gets a variety of ammunition at varying hypervelocities!
That's how the survivors roll in the Mohave!
