I'm pretty sure I finished the game...

Bugs haven't bothered me at all, Maybe you should man up before I roll you up and smoke you.

You'd have no chance if my f*ing magic resistance was working right...

but really, i'm pretty amazed the OP could finish all the quests with one character.

The release on xbox was outstanding. And from what I hear, the people complaining about bugs on the PC are over exaggerating (has a lot to do with individuals hardware set up as well, not the software itself).

I don't know how anyone would be excited about DLC, considering how amazing a core game Skyrim is for them to add to.

True, but have you seen the bugs on PS3?
Dear lord it lags like crazy....

What's wrong with replaying content with a different character / playstyle?

Usually nothing. But I can think of very few quests worth replaying multiple times.
The Daedric quests were all AAA++++ and as always I find myself redoing them.

But aside from that, everything felt rushed and not very as epic as it should have been.

Please don't flame me for this. I really do love TES. I totally ignored the pre-Skyrim hype so I would be surprised and not easily disappointed.
The first few days were AMAZING!!!!
But now the novelty is starting to wear off.
And I'm starting to realize
...I've done everything...

Within the first night Skyrim came out I became the Arch-Mage of the college. I would have paced myself had I known the quest line consisted of like... 5 quests...
(I was more upset about not being invited to be a member of the Psijic Order to realize at the time)

Since then I've become....
Spoiler
Dragon born.
Seen both sides of the civil war.
A werewolf and Companion guild leader.
A vampire (still no quests for them WTF!?
Thieves Guild Leader
The Listener
Every Daedric Prince's Servant
And the gotogirl for every NPC with dialogue...

Right now I am playing a hardcoe RP character. A Khajiit who wanders around with the caravans (although I've yet to find an actual 'caravan') squeezing the last few drops out of this game. Every once and awhile something random and new happens.
Spoiler
Like whats up with the headless horseman?

But I've pretty much completed the game.
And I can't say that about ANY other TES game despite the hundreds of hours I've poured into them.... (Yes, even Oblivion)

Did you find the nudist colony yet?

Have you visited each and every dungeon?
Destroy all enemies with stabs, spells, and bludgeons?
Not to mention all of the old temples, ruins, and halls?
Received all of the dragon shouts on the walls?
How about all of the treasure chests? Were they all plundered?
Too many to collect, though I wonder
But If you did all that, for you, I am glad!
Unfortunately, you'll be bored, and for you, I will be sad.

I'm with the majority of posters here... Confused.
My longest single character play time is about 60 hours and I barely scratched the surface of the main quest line, I did finish the Companions quest too quickly for my taste but then again... I've only been to Whiterun and Riften and have completed mostly radiant and miscellaneous quests.
Granted everyone has different play styles, I don't see how you've exhausted everything already.

lol sounds like your 6 chars are at lvl 10 everyone of them and they have done one main quest line each.....

Im 140 h in and still not made it through more than 2 citys and bought 2 houses, not tuched thiefs guild, not picked any war side just began with dark brother hood and still got the main dragon quest left.

Take it easy and try to play it as rp game and you will have alot to do in it. and hoppfully the CK is out in 2 months time(if we are lucky) and then you have a lot of mods to play with

I have 120 hours over two characters and I've only completed the main quest. One character that I just started is doing the DB, and the other is coming towards the end of the Stormcloak line (at least I think he is). Still got the college, thieves, bards, legion, and also other playstyles I'll do like a "treasure hunter" dungeon crawler kinda guy, and also on that note I've got plenty more dragon cult ruins to clear to find more shouts for my dragonborn character. Not to mention the daedric quests as well. I've been playing since 11/11/11, I don't see how you can have accomplished all this by now without powering around fast travelling to quest objectives and not stopping for anything.

I wasn't exactly counting. But I cant tell you I have defiantly invested more hours into each Oblivion, Morrowind and Daggerfall.

IRL I have a job, a man and a gym membership - so It's not like I was playing every waking hour of the day.

So that means that you're a woman who works-out AND games!?...Why th' HELL hasn't he married you already!?

...I'd gladly punch a lion in the nuts for a chance to meet a woman like you! :toughninja:

I'm playing an evil char that barely does any quests at all because most are tailored for goody-two-shoes and I'm having a blast. As is usual with TES, the game is as fun as you want it to be.

I never use fast travel, and yet this world feels much smaller than Cyrodil in Oblivion. If I were a betting man I'd wager that the size of this world is somewhere inbetween Shivering Isles and Cyrodil. It isn't quite as small as Shivering Iseles, which was a DLC so we expect it to be smaller, but it isn't nearly as big as Cyrodil. I find that many of the underground areas here are much smaller than Oblivions Aleid ruins, and even caves.

BUT...that is not necessarily a bad thing. For my personal tastes this world is plenty big.

And just so you know, I've played around 100 hours so far and have not started the main quest yet, nor any of the side faction quests.

Right now I am having fun playing "Dead is dead" games streaming online and interacting with people on the forums watching. It's kinda addicting.

275 hours and no where near finished i still have 2 guild to become master off and a gadzillion misc quest to finish and dungeons to clean not to mention the main quest line is not done. It has lost its luster though I have 150k gold and can one shot most mobs as a stormcloak hunter on expert. I was unbridled in the characters development using all enhancements available as I did not know what to expect and its now a little OP . I am not having the same experience with my imperial Mage who struggles to make an impact and often reverts to cold steal and muscle.

Ya know I can understand the completionist mentality, I was like that with OB after a while(since i ps3 and can't mod it) but I actually try to extend the game. I rarely fast travel and in fact sometimes I slow travel.

If I'm on a quest I avoid topics with NPCs that I know will give me their quest, this forces me to go back to certain places yeah, but I think since it puts fewer markers on the map I get to discover more places on my own (more fun to me)

When I'm walking around if my compass shows me an undiscovered place I almost always go check it out. I like to look around. I try not to sprint much and generally I don't do things with an objective based mindset. I think if you just rip through everything in skyrim using fast travel and going right from quest to quest it can be pretty tedious.

That said the quests are still really lacking. I think games have reached a level (at least my expectations) where game designers are not enough. Or whoever is writing the quest stories, do they hire professional fantasy writers for this stuff? It would be pretty cool to see what some like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Sanderson could do with some of the story threads.

Can't believe how people really claims that oblivion's quest were vastly more superior and numerous.

Most guilds could be completed en a [censored] single hour. Maybe mage's was longer. Dark brotherhood's were extremely simple, just go and kill target.

I bet you used fast travel?
Did you even do some exploration or daedra princes quests?

Oblivion is in no realistic way longer than this game. No single way.

It may be smaller land mass wise (which I personally don't feel is true), but the world is more detailed and full of life. I've definitely had more fun purely exploring in Skyrim than in Morrowind and Oblivion.

Ditto. I'm just at 40 hours in with my current character (my only one), and I've only completed the companion quest line and about 4-5 main quests. Aside from completing the quests offered in Whiterun, I've only been to two other holds so far (Dawnstar and Winterhold), and I haven't even touched the civil war, bard, mage, or thieves guild quest lines. I'm anticipating that it will take me at least 100 hours to complete most of this game with plenty left to spare, and I do fast travel.

Pretty sure I specifically said I don't fast travel and I love the Daedric quests...

Oblivion is garbage, shouldn't even be in this conversation.
Just saying I was never this close to completing it.

I have not 'completed' the game yet, but I will admit that after finishing the Companions in one run I'm beginning to wonder how hard it would be. Luckily I'm only letting each character I play do one or two factions (just to roleplay them tighter) so I'll have some replay value due to that. But after I've hit ever faction, been to most all caves (which is easy since the radiant quests generally send you to caves you've not been to before) I think I may feel a lot like the OP. While I kinda got this feeling with OB, I must admit with MW I played for years and still found new places and new things to do.

Maybe mods and DLC's will stretch it out some.

I will probably Max out at atleast 200 hours with a single character. My whole time playing I worry about exhausting quests and things to do so I have a round about way of completing tasks. And I will spend 2 hours decorating my home only to reenter later with everything on the floor thus requiring me to redecorate again. It's hard enough doing it on the 360, but I don't know why I haven't learned my lesson yet.

Honestly, I was feeling that Skyrim was getting on the tedious side and it was time to clean up and get the main questlines over with (i'd been avoiding them)... but then
Spoiler
I nearly shed a tear that when I found the remains of poor Sinderion and realized all my Oblivion friends were mostly gone when I got to blackreach. And I forgot all about what I was doing and stared for a while at blackreach's awesomeness and wasted the entire night mining soul gems and searching for crimson nirnroot....I kept saying "Holy s**t - this place is f***ing huge! ... over and over. I feel asleep at my keyboard b/c I literally couldn't leave my keyboard.

I haven't done did that since the staff piece dungeons in Arena. You live for the moments, and hopefully you get enough of them. Time/Money well spent, IMHO.

have you done all the daedric shrines, brought all the houses, cleared every dungeon and done every major side quest, guild quest and main quest, completed all the bosses, got all the unique items, and all the spells and books? There is a massive amount of stuff in this game, if you have done everything in that list already you have just been playing too much
