Compared to the character models in Oblivion, pretty much anything would be an improvement. You know Jensine, the owner of Jensine's Fine Merchandise in the Imperial City? It looks like somebody forcibly removed her nostrils and replaced them with sombody else's ear.

I think the devs were seriously drunk and suffering from what we Brits call the 'ten to two' syndrome when they designed the faces for the female NPC's in OB.

I could make a smokin' hot female face in all of ten minutes using the character creator with no mods.

Amen. I think there were like 2 women in the game that were at least not BUTT ugly. They still weren't that amazing either. Oh yeah, Sheogorath's army was at least okay too.

But yeah, I think that bar servant in the Skyrim pic was a bit hot. There's something that I'd call her. Starts with an M, and ends with an F, but I'm gonna keep this clean....

I hope character creation random button won't give us ugly faces. for the whole three gals I would take the right one for my bosmer assasin. [usualwhining]Still, while they were improving the faces, someone could have done something about the hair too - I really hope the styles from the screenshots are just a careful selection of the dullest available hairdos and the rest will easily be able to compete with all the hair mods released two hours after the game comes out. After all, over the 200 years between Oblivion and Skyrim, some development in the area of haircare must have taken place, even despite the war and crisis. I really hated it in vanilla Oblivion (and Morrowind too) that I either could never find a suitable style for my character or were given only one decently suitable style to choose from. In Skyrim, I want to finally see some long hair, curly hair, fancy hair, hair with accessories, hair with buns, hair with tails, hair with wireless net connection and, most importantly of all, BRAIDS - we're in Skyrim, all Vikingy and Hollywoodishly Scandinavian, so a comprehensive selection of braided hairdos (and beards, of course) is essential. Everything with as much variation as imaginably possible and then some.

(I know how I sound, especially being mostly dead serious about it this time around, and I'm really not that shallow and hair-obsessed all the time, I swear! This just bothers me more than other things that bother me less ._.)

Far right. I actually like brunettes and red-heads more generally, but her face is done better it seems. Perhaps it's just the lighting, but it looks more 'real', not like it's been airbrushed to give it a porcelain effect.

I wouldn't really care.. ever since playing FO3 I've hated children in video games. Atleast by bethesda. lol xD
I'd probably get a mod to remove them. Jk, as long as they're not dikes like in fallout.
