If i join either faction, will the vampires stop attacking the towns? I have Xbox 360 so i can't use any mods. But i do find it annoying to go into town and have vampires attacking me, and people who should be hiding inside, are jumping right in front of my blade. Or getting killed by Vampires. But if i side with the Vampires, will the leave the towns alone? I would rather be with the Dawnguard, since they have better armor.

The attacks will continue even if you join the Dawnguard, but I don't know about being on the vamp side, never done it.
