Prices for Crysis 2

Post » Mon Jan 05, 2009 1:13 pm

I just looked up the prices for Crysis 2 here in Sweden and in United Kingdom. In UK the take about £30 fpr Collector's Edition. That's a sum for about 350 swedish kronor. The I went to a swedish store and checked the game. There the price was 899kr. That is almost £80!!!! That's sick! Do you guys notice any drastic changes in your country compared to the UK store? Comment below on what you think or what prices there are :)

How are they giving us less. They so far have amused me with the city landscape and multipayer. And yes I am a fan of mw2 but only because most of my friends play it as well. Crytek has to amuse the people who like mw2 and even halo if they want customers the reason they made it halo and mw2 style. Another think is that pc gamers will probably still have access to create maps and do all the things you can in crysis 1. So far me and my friends love what the game is offering us and we have already preordered it.

Well the rest of us don't seem to agree with you. It's ok that you want a simple game you can play that is just like all your MW2`, but Cryengine 2 spoiled us, and we expect nothing less than what we had with those earlier Crysis games, but that's what the rest of us are getting, less, and having to pay more for it on top of it.

It will be the same price for the launch date in March also. I used a currency exchange calculator to get about 1543 rubles, but if you are not buying for the PC, then it will cost more than my given amount.

THAT'S why PC wins. END OF LINE.

Joking, well, not all of Sweden's stores have the game out to buy yet, preorder later and you get it at a better price :P
