Yea, somebody must have had some radiation sickness when writing this.

Maybe we can make a little wagon, they do already exist, in the form of http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Brahmin_cart
They said we would be able to connect our settlements and build trade routes, guessing the writer was referring to that...maybe we have to actually make the Brahmin carts to get those trade routes up.
That might mean the ability to create vehicles will be in the game, doesn't necessarily mean we can manually drive them around ourselves, by that I mean sit in the vehicle and move it around, and see things from the perspective of the vehicle. Just might mean we can make the thing and assign it to a trade route.
Though if the possibility to make a faster vehicle/cart is already in place, modders might be able to do something with that much easier than in previous games.
Wow if the crafting system has indeed these possibilities...
Think I'm getting a seizure from the hype!
Imagine what modders will be able to do with this system. It's really going to extend the game greatly, really looking forward to this Fallout 4.
I have a bad feeling my Fallout 4 game will devolve into a rummaging simulator.
Nobody picking up on the vehicles are in the game thing like that writer hinted? Hate to quote myself but this gives way to interesting possibilities, would think people here would enjoy talking about it.
It's 20 days why are they not releasing more information arggasgsadfsfadfadfgrtrat
The writer clearly only knows about the stuff that Bethesda's already publicly released - none of the Prima Games stuff has anything that's not found in a previous Bethesda release (the e3 video, the SPECIAL videos, the character progression article). The vehicles thing was just the writer making stuff up.
It makes sense though, that we would have to craft the wagons for our trade route system. What if the writer was referring to that, and we need to craft Brahmin carts.
I doubt it -brahmin caravans, including the one we've seen in Fallout 4 already from the e3 video, typically don't have carts. They just pack everything on the brahmin's back.
Yeah I think Beth learned enough to avoid that with Skyrim.
If they go so far as drivable houses, I hope they'll let me convert that Power Armor into a Metal Ge- I mean, Iron Cog Pterodactyl.
Maybe it was purely conjecture, though didn't someone say that group is the one who writes the Fallout 4 official guide? Maybe it's something he actually knows, just based on that extra bit of info, that's why I'm wondering a little more seriously about it anyway.
That, and it would be interesting if we finally were the ones who made the Brahmin carts. Someone has to, and if we're establishing trade routes we'll need to get them from somewhere, and crafting them ourselves would be cheaper. That bit of knowledge is probably like gold in the wastelands. It would be weirder if they just magically appeared out of nowhere than us actually crafting them.
My guess is maybe we'll craft the Brahmin carts then assign them to our other settlements, and that's how we make trade routes.
This made me think how neat it would be if we could enter a vehicle customization mode like how we can for power armor, adding panels, wheels, seats, storage, and so on. Unlikely, but a fun thought.
Brahmin caravans don't use carts. They just pack a bunch of stuff on a Brahmin's back and have them carry it around.
This is the case not just in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but also in Fallout 4 - we can see a pack Brahmin in the E3 video and/or the trailer.
Also, yes, it's the same company that write the official guide - but since they don't have any authority to reveal anything prior to the game being released, their internet presence is probably completely divorced from the person writing the strategy guide. They certainly haven't said anything at all yet that isn't taken from the videos or is clearly baseless supposition.
They can be attached to old cars - http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Brahmin_cart
Here's a picture of the perfect pickup truck from Fallout 4, we could use that to hook up to those beasts - http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Truck_FO4.png
Weird that nobody wants to craft these things I think it would make for an exciting crafting system.
How else are we going to set up a trade route without getting something to carry the goods? We have to craft a chair just to get something to sit on, can't imagine they're just going to give us the pack animals/wagons without putting in any effort. I'd love it if we had to craft something like this.
That's in Fallout 1/2, not Fallout 4. Bethesda's game has very little in common with Fallout 1/2, so anything you see in them that isn't in Fallout 3 is unlikely to be present in Fallout 4 - and, as mentioned, we've already seen a Fallout 4 brahmin caravan and it didn't use a cart.
That doesn't matter, they could still make it happen if they wanted. They have pickup trucks lying around after all, and they have Brahmin. If not that combo then could be something else. Even if that writer was just talking rubbish, and there are no wheels in the game (unlikely, we've understood how awesome wheels are for how long now?), maybe we'll need to craft saddlebags for the Brahmin. Has to be something we craft surely.
I mean, how will we make our trade routes then if not crafting something? Just click a town on the map and traders magically appear?
