Wow, amazing post, 'Sleeper. I love some of the imagery there. And the total change in tone from my post, haha. I hope some people got some of the hints and references tucked away in there, or at least one person recognised Syllawen's guest
This is gonna be one hell of an RP. Hopefully the posts won't all have to be that long though, ha. Pretty much everyone who is everyone has received a letter btw, all across High Rock. The Festival of Peace is a National Holiday.
As soon as I heard the name Nels I was like "Nice one Vincent
"
I will post in a few minutes then. I wont receive an invitation, but wait for Athell to drag me into it.
I have Skype and Facebook, and I have both open whenever I am online.
Any of you are free to add me on Skype, my username is

....Ah. Well, if we assume the invitations themselves utilized modern Bretony's highly efficient magical correspondence system...there still might not be enough time for all of this to work. If necessary I will bump my post back a bit, though I'll have to remove the part about grain-stores freezing. Evermore is snowy much of the year, so that much can stay. Most would travel by boat to Wayrest, and then probably up the Bjoulsae River, and then up the winding but well guarded mountain road to Evermore itself. If they are coming from Northern highrock, then a boat across the Bay of Hearts and then by road again. I imagine the journey from the Iliac would be safer, as Wayrest's navy is there to pretty much eliminate the possibility of pirates. It might be a fairly quick journey after all.
Carrier Bird? That is awesome. I was thinking something like there being magical post offices in major cities, for important coresspondance like this. Expensive but fast. So the letter could be sent off to Camlorn, Daggerfall, Northpoint, Wayrest or any other big city, and then travel by bird from there to a place like Urvanis. How is that?
Looking at the geography of High Rock, the journey to Evermore might not be that hard. Just have the letter received within good time to be able to make to Evermore by the 11th of Frostfall
The letters would arrive in at most five days. Magical correspondence to the the major cities would be instantaneous, then depending on how long the bird takes to fly would determine how long it would take to reach the recipient.
Yeah but considering the size of party a traveling duke brings, it's unlikely the mage's guild would want to transport 50 people.
Urvaius is landlocked, it's unlikely we'd have a proper navy, we could however hire some boats from Anticlere I guess.
Sleeper, I thought we discussed this? I am waiting.
I agree, the Mages Guild would probably not like to send the whole Court of Daggerfall through magical transport
Urvaius has a shore, doesnt it? Eh, we can just snag a ride with one of the others.
I thought i'd just make a general post. Our conversation about that never really had a conclusion, either. So hush
You guys can travel with Astien when he comes through. He's taking a boat out of Anticlere. Senhyn wont be attending, he hates Wayrest and anyone who follows them.
Also for currency we're doing the Dragon Age: Origins method.
