I heard many things about the PC getting dedicated servers but nobody ever said anything about the private servers for you and your friends. Every other game I've ever played I was never able to make any servers do to having to open ports and all sorts of other networking problems. My question is it going to be easier to create a working server for you and your friend to play co-op or whatever. Also as long as it doesn't use gamespy I'm ok(I'm looking at you borderlands) I just hope it's easier than making a working server in TF2.

Well.. if you are going to create the server from your own computer then isn't this pretty much matchmaking? And yes, you can play co-op thru matchmaking with your friends.

And if you are gonna buy / rent a real server then I'm sure you can make it private.
