Problem notified with : Local Leader perk

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 2:48 am

Hello,

I notified a problem with the perk Local Leader (rank 2)

when i go to a settlement to add defense (turrett), or food growing vegetable or fruits, or even create a water fountain,

i need to bring with me the component, because there is some component (a lot) which are not transmitted from Sanctuary (my main base) to the settlement ...

Those component are :

Vegetables, fruits,

Oil (for turrett)

cement (for water fountain)

gears (for turrett)

cable (for turrett)

ETC...

I don't understand where is the point to create a perk like "Local leader" if we need to bring to each colony all the materials to supply the needs...

Please Bethesda fix this ...

All of the components needed for crafting and building, as well as food, are available at any and all settlements connected by a supply line.

If you don't have supply lines set up, you won't be able to access your overall inventory.

Playing on PS4 here, and the effect of supply lines seems to be quite fast, if not instantaneous.

Did you actually set up the supply lines? You have to do more than simply get the perk.

Bring up the workshop menu and find a spare settler. When the settler highlights, there will be an option that says "Supply Line." Click that, and then select the settlement that you want them to create a supply line with. You have to connect all of them one at a time.

If you start at Sanctuary, you have to assign a settler to a supply line to Red Rocket. Then you'll assign a settler from Red Rocket to the supply line to the Abernathy Farm and so on until they're all connected. Once you do this, you'll be able to access workshop items at any of your connected settlements.

For what it's worth, when I establish a supply line it goes into effect almost immediately.

No no no, Ok, i understand...

I wasn't understanding the point with supply lines, i was thinking it was to send an NPC to another colony...

Ok, many thanks for the answer :)
