Hey, I've recently been trying to play Morrowind again on my PC in anticipation for Skyrim. The game works fine, my problem lies with trying to play the game while running my desktop through my Vizio tv. It seems the game just was not made to be played in the widescreen format. That doesnt bother me, its just trying to play anything but 640x480 results in only half the game screen being shown, and only on half my tv. Using the 640x480 centers the game on my tv, but a good bit is cut off at the bottom.

I switched the game from fullscreen to just a window, this seems to fix it somewhat, allthough i have to see at my desktop on each side of the game and there is still some cut off at the bottom (though not as bad as 640x480).

If anyone knows of a way to fix this or a workaround please help me.

Sounds like some kind of sync issue. I'm guessing MW is putting your pc into a comparatively lower resolution than the tv wants to display. I'd suggest using an engine extender such as MGE to push the resolution up to somthing compatible with your tv set.

I had the same problem, my Sony Bravia isn't compatible with 1280x800 resolution. Like JNeilWix said, just use MGE and change the game resolution to one that your TV supports. However make sure you set your TV up as your primary monitor so that you can access 1080p, 720p, etc. from the MGE drop down menu. Otherwise you will only change the resolution of the game to things compatible with your computer screen.
