Problem wile installing mods

Post » Thu Sep 02, 2010 1:27 am

OK I downloaded QTP Redimized and further reduced OMOD and placed it in my OMOD folder.
Then it showed up in OMM (the small square was red){\castleinteriors\
I activated it and after some wainting and som choices about resolutionit it started to pop up signs like "textures\architectures\narrowhalls\narrowroomcorners.dds already exist, and is not associated with an OMOD. Overwrite?"
Well I started clicking yes and thats the one I'm on currrently but I get a feeling that I will use up my mouse before it will be done.
Are there any yes to all way to do it, or have I done somethinng wrong entierly?

Not all mods have, or require, an ESM or ESP file and therefor there is nothing to activate. You simply install the resources and your done. However you may need to activate or update http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/archiveinvalidation.html when installing certain mods such as texture replacers and additions. OBMM and Wrye Bash both have forms of Archive Invalidation and it's pretty much a "set it and forget it" option. BSA - Redirection is the method you want to use. Read the article I linked previously for more information on this subject and how to activate it in your favorite mod-manager.

Good luck!
