A problem with Arena : The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion

Well, I recently downloaded Arena from Elderscrolls.com, and I enjoy it very much. I had a little trouble at first, but I eventually got it working.
The problem I'm having is that I never read anything about it being a demo, and I assumed it was a full game. By reading offhanded comments by forum users I still believe it is the entire game of Arena. But when I reach the

shift gate at the end of the first level --The sewers-- it tells me to consult my manual and type in the price of the item shown. I, having no clue of this manual or list of prices, simply type in the number 100,

and Arena closes and simply goes back to default DOSbox. Is this normal? Is the downloadable game on Elderscrolls.com simply a demo, do I have to buy the CD to get the full game?
Help would be appreciated.

Hehe, that's the old copy protection. Look in your Arena folder for a 'Docs' folder you'll find all the passwords in there.

Yeah, it didn't take me long to figure out. Just search for the manual online. Simply typing 'TES Arena Manual' will bring it up as the first listing, I think.
