Problem with Directx 11 : Crysis

Yesterday I downloaded the High Res Textures & DirectX 11 upgrades. Both downloaded successfully, so I installed both and it said both had been installed successfully. After seeing this, I started the game and checked the settings. I was able to turn my High Res Textures on & off, but my DirectX 11 is still grayed out & disabled. I tried to reinstall the DirectX 11 upgrade but it said it had already been successfully installed. Did I do something wrong? Help would be greatly appreciated!

There's your problem, they are dx10 cards not dx11.

You brought an Alienware and didn't know that the GTX260 doesn't support DX11? WOW!

A quick Google would have told you that, "GTX260 specs".

I bet that rig was $1000 dollars too expensive.

Don't buy alienware next time, build a custom rig.
