So on my fallout save file Max appears to be glitched outside of freeside. when you look on your map he appears to be outside of the city and very far away. Is there any way to either get max back into freeside or otherwise glitch myself out of freeside in order to reach him (I could fast travel back into bounds one I found Max)

I know this problem may be unfixable but I've put 15 hours or so into the game and i'd hate to have to restart, just to get the range finder...
