Problem with Meshes

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:19 pm

Ok, Having mesh problems with just head replacers. I have tried several different ones, installing them a few different ways as suggested by the guides on these forums, and nothing is working. I'm stumped. No other problems at all. Just headless npc's with giant yellow exclamation points. I'm stumped. Any help would be hot, as I've just gotten morrowind running again after a few years, and I'm pretty stoked to dive back in.

Hmmm... Double check you've installed the mod correctly. Remember, it's always best to install manually (as opposed to just unzipping straight to Data Files.)

Are you using the Steam version of Morroiwnd?

No sir, GOTY edition. I did the manual reinstall of all three of the head replacer mods I've tried using, as well as just unpacking them into the data file. No luck.

Which head replacer? Did it come with a .bsa file and if so did you register it?

I first tried The Facepack Compilation which did have .bsa files, and yes, I registered them with the BSA reg thing. I also tried Better Heads and Beryls head replacer which don't have bsa files, and i'm having the same issues.

I'm even more lost. Every thing shows up fine in the CS in terms of meshes. So those arn't missing or anything.

Are you running Vista or Windows7? Did you install in 'program files' and are running UAC?
