Hi,

I completed the Rivet City history quest a long time ago. When I visited Rivet City again I accidently asked someone about the history of RC...and now it seems that it has started that quest again. Everytime I go to Moira the dialogue options about Rivet City are one of the options. I click through the converstion bit it doesnt ever go away.

Now I have complete the Robo quest thing and I can't get the conversation options to appear...It's stuck at the Rivet City history option.


Any help would be appreciated.

1) Are you absolutely certain that you finished the quest entirely by going back to Megaton and talking to Moira?
2) In your pip-boy under Quests are there any unfinished "optional quests" or "side quests" lines still open?
3) Does the Rivet City history quest show up on your pip-boy as active (bright) or as completed (dark)?
4) Can you talk to Moira and get her the give you the quest from the beginning, i.e., starting all over from scratch?

1) I presume so. As she gave me the next quest and I was half way doing it. I was given and half way though doing the RoboCo quest when this got 'stuck'.
2) Nope.
3) It's dark.
4) Nope again...everytime I talk to her I get the usual options to buy / repair, to purchase stuff for the house and the "Let's talk about Rivet City's history" (or something) option.

"The quest gets stuck if Pinkerton gives you the proof twice about Rivet City's true history. He does this if you ask more about Doctor Li after completing that part. Moira just wants to hear from Rivet City, and you can't talk about other quests. (Supposed to be fixed in 1.7 on PC; still happens from time to time, maybe in slightly different form. [Confirmed: 1.7.0.3 (en-US), all DLCs]) "

I have this same problem.

Fallout wiki says to type the following in the console:

set ms03.ms03c1 to 4

But it tells me the variable is missing and didn't do anything for me.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
