I finally downloaded Morrowind through Steam, yet when I try to read anything, it's blank. I also have no way of clicking off the paper or book I'm trying to read. I end up having to hit Esc and quit. I only had 2 mods installed and I even unchecked them. Same result. Any ideas?

Possiibly a corrupt installation ? Try uninstalling and downloading again.

Sounds like some files might be missing. You could try reinstalling.

Thanks guys it worked! I'm new to Steam and modding, so i was afraid I really botched things. I'm going to add Ravenloft and the mod that removed the herbs after you harvest them. I forget what that one's called. Hopefully, I should be playing in no time.

Not sure what part of it was the issue, but even with all data files unchecked, some of the mods included with this were still active. My fault for adding mods without really knowing what I was doing. All I have now is Ravenloft and everything's fine.
