Ok, so I've been using Painkiller Rider's awesome shield for some time. Today I made new character to test some of my mods and decided to take up the Sun Shield on the way. While it was hanging up there it was fine, when I added it to my inventory, still fine, but upon equipping I got bombed with error messages, like hundreds of them in a row, and finnaly game crashed without me being able to see any of the error messages. Why can't I equip the Sun Shield anymore?

In your Morrowind folder there is a file called Warnings.
what does that say?

Probably a better way to get an answer would be to ask the question on http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=865058? Post there the content of your latest entry in Warnings and I might be able to answer (it is likely you accidentally deleted something).
