Problem with Powered Power Armour

Post » Sun Jul 24, 2011 2:26 pm

I'm running Powered Power Armour (along with a bunch of other mods, see below) and I've met a problem with movement speeds. The Composite T-45d armour seems to boost my speed when powered, no problem so far (I think it's meant to do that). But the speed boost doesn't seem to be being removed when I take it off. And when I put it on again I get faster again. I'm now moving way too fast even without the armor.

Is there a console command I can use to reset my base movement speed so I'm not the Flash anymore? And is there a way to stop the problem from reoccuring?

I believe SetAv SpeedMult will work, but you also have to do a little damage to a movement condition to get it to stick.

So in the console, something like SetAv SpeedMult XXX, where XXX=the amount of speed you want, then DamageAv LeftMobilityCondition 1

Or something.

IIWR 2.1.0.esp

Probably nothing to do with your speed issue, but that mod is very outdated due to patch changes.
The up to date one is in my sig.

When the PPA is removed, then it should run the following. Which I think should work in the console too.

player.modav speedmult -40

If it doesn't work in the console either then one of the other mods may be controlling that attribute too.

Edit: yeah, or what pppp says too :ninja:

Ok, I can now give numbers to it: Every time I put the armour on my SpeedMult increases by 55, and every time I take it off it decreases by 15.

player.setav speedmult had no effect, but using player.modav to reduce it back to 100 then using damageav as you suggested brought me back down to normal speeds.

That lets me play again, thanks! I'd like to keep using PPA if possible so it'd be nice if I could fix the root problem - I wonder if it's a collision with Project Nevada's change to movement speeds?
