Problem with saving

Post » Tue Jun 01, 2010 10:48 pm

I saved a mod and over a couple of days it was saving. Then something happened to where I cant save anything to the existing on. When I go to save it seems like it does but it stoped at the preveois on. What happened? I have a new computer Vista at that in the fallout 3 there are no problems.

There should be, in a Fallout New Vegas\Data\Backup folder, versions of your file to revert to. In the event a plugin ceases to open, try changing the latest .bak to .esp and you shouldn't have to redo too much provided you save often. I'm NavMeshing a cave for FOOK by another team member and the GECK seems to crash periodically, sometimes leaving an inoperable file. Thankfully, those .bak's are there or I'd have pulled my hair out by now.

If you don't have any backups, link the broken plugin and I'll try to operate on it with FNVEdit, if you'd like.
