I've just bought the new Crysis 3 DLC and I wanted to play it but it seems like I have a problem that it just got worse.

A few weeks ago, when I wanted to play Crysis 3 multiplayer, I was entering my e-mail and password and I was pressing log in. Since it was just loading forever I was Alt+F4 -ing from the game and start it again. It only worked to connect on 2nd or 3rd time I started the game. I've contacted origin for help and an employee asked me to get him a copy of something on my PC, and so I did. He told me that I need to update my Directx since it is out of date and the game will work fine after that. (I already had the last Directx so god knows what was in his head.) . So it didn't work after I've reinstalled Directx and because I didn't want to wait 1h and 30min to talk to someone again I've decided to let it be.

Now after I have downloaded the new DLC (The Lost Island) the game won't connect at all. I start the game, I enter my e-mail and password, I click login and it keeps loading. First time I tough that it will take some time to configure the new content but after ~45min of waiting I've decided that that's enough and I should write on the forums. (Please note that I have been trying to connect on multiplayer a few more times after I've waited ~45 min.)

I want a replay as soon as possible since I didn't pay the money on the game and on the DLC to wait and look at how cool the DVD's look and finish the singleplayer campaign once a week.

My Origin just started to do an update to the game at the moment. I hope this will fix the problem but as I said, I was getting this problem even when the servers were just started.

After restarting the PC the problem is back. I can no longer connect to Multiplayer.

Can you post your system specs as well as what type of internet connection you use?

Hmm.. Your specs are just fine for the game... Are you using any antivirus? If yes then Is your game exe is allow in firewall...?

I am using the last Norton Antivirus and Spybot Search and Destroy as antikeylogger . None of the has a problem with the game and the EXE file is allowed in the firewall. I managed to connect to multiplayer again after many tries... but it is just very annoying to do this every time.

Well aim also using Norton but never seems to have any problem... But never used any antikeylogger... Try to disable that and try again.. And also try to logging with different account..

I've tried to disable antikeylogger long time ago, and it didn't fix the problem. I don't have other account and none of my friends is playing crysis 3 so I can't try that.

I think I've solved the problem, I will try this when I get home. I always spam Enter when I start the game to skip the videos of EA, AMD etc. but the last time it conneted I left them be. It may be a coincidence or a solution. Idk.
