Problem in connecting generators with water suppliers


It doesn't matter what i try...it does not work



I have two medium water suppliers (they need 4 power units together)..so i've built one medium generator which supplies 5 units.


I tried to connect them directly, i tried it in a row. i tried it parallel, i tried it with small pylons in between, i tried a big pylon in between....what is the secret?

The only thing i didn't tzry is to build for each user a generator each (means two generators for two water suppliers...but this makes no sense to me if we have different

generators with different sizes oif power supply.

Then i moved the generator a bit closer and the cable between the genarator and the pylon was left with one end in the air......that's weird.

The cable with one end in the air i cannot grab anymore.....

Select whatever cable you have remaining, and store it. Then select the generator, and create a cable by 'space' if you are on pc or whatever it is on console. Any available connection will be highlighted in white...if they aren't, then you are too far apart.

To do both pumps to the one genset, you can either cable from the genset to each, or daisy chain.

I suggest if you can't actually 'grab' the cable as you say, then select the generator and store it, then go through the construction process again, which will bring it out of storage and place as it if was brand new...the cable will also be in storage, as a cable and NOT on the generator. Basically, this process just resets everything.

Basic tip for any electrickery is that if it doesn't work when it should, store it and then reposition it.
