the problem is that when im joining a game it just puts me alone in a game lobby and starts waiting for 5 more players. iv checked that the problem could be my nat type. but iv checked my ps3 nat type and it says that it's nat type 1 and should work properly. but still. no other players. i have no problems whit my other games. or actuly there is another game whit the same problem, but that's not the point. So can someone help me whit this?

Im from Spain and I have exactly the same problem ! I have trier to open ports, enable upnp and DMZ host in my router but nothing changes, instead sometimes I have lost internet connection for 1 o 2 mins...

Sometimes it just takes awhile to find some players. I thought it was my connection a few times (and it was) but it was also due to me being impatient.

TC what you need is "Nat type 2" and try to "DMZ" your PS3, so that you'll have a better ping when playing online. Search youtube on how to change your Nat type, theres hundreds of videos on this.

Having Nat type 1 or 3 is a no go when playing online games.

No dude the best Nat Type for gaming is 2, which is OPEN. who ever said 1 & 3 are best doesn't know anything. I work in telecommunication and trust me Nat Type 2 is whats best.

Like he said Nat 2 is best way your console communicates with the online community. Do a speedtest.com see where your ping and bandwidth is at. less ms ping say 20-100ms is doable over and you'll have some lag to deal with. it don't matter if you have a high download speed cause a lower ms ping is what gets the info to the next guy and so on.

Well I have nat type 1 and in the game it says it's open. What's up with that?
