Problems with not liking Legion

Post » Sat Sep 25, 2010 5:35 pm

All right, Legion svck! Just because I didnt want to kill Mr House, they send assassins after me every 2 hours. This has made the game most unpleasant. Why? Well read on!

  • I need to get RoboDog to JacobsTown and I haven't explored that town before, so walking is my only option. Everytime I attempt to leave a town/city I get crushed by Legion.
  • Whilst Exploring the area north of Novac (by the Scrapyard), Legion attacked me. I ran north to the friendly NRC building and Legion killed the NRC troops including their Luitenent . I escaped, but I feel like I've missed out on a quest for not talking to Lui.

How can I get them of my backs?
Is the Luitenent lost forever?

Thanks.

Set difficulty to Very Easy, make them appear, kill them.
They should only appear once, did for me.

Spoilers.

Any named character is dead forever once killed, no respawns.

Use a shotgun with slugs, or AP bullets, take a load of chems, shoot them in the head.

As Gabriel said drop the difficulty down as well.

I'll try dropping the difficulty.

Did I miss any mega important missions?

Thanks for mega fast reply.

If it's helios one, than no as any there have a work around solution.

Isn't that Lieutenant also required for part of Restoring Hope? I thought that was the one that gave directions to the supply squad, or is there some workaround for that as well if she dies?

The package like others in this game are placed at the start of the game and do not spawn just for the quest.
So it's possible to find it even before you get to Forlorn Hope, and it still triggers the three minor legionaires.

The same goes for the Omertas quest items, chlorine and the weapon stash looted by the fiends just north of Violets trailer park.

The NCR assasins saved my life. They appeared to tell me i had one day left to improve my rep with them, and i didnt know what to do. fortunatly about 6 cazadors took care of that dilemmma for me, as they were walking away. And thats 6 less cazadors in the world

I am on a mission to destroy all of them...I have been to Cottonwood Cove, unfortunately by the time I got there, I was already vilified by the Legion so they left me no choice but to keep killing and killing them until there were none left at the base. Now I just have to figure out how to get to The Ruler himself and kill him next...

Submachineguns work best for this task, unless you are using the Gobi sniper rifle. Fire from the kneeling position is always more accurate than moving and firing..
