Problems with my Old Copy of PS:Torment

Post » Fri May 01, 2009 11:07 pm

I went to go play PS:Torment again today and apparently during one of my many moves one of the disks has become scratched and now I can no longer play Disk 2. Does anyone know of a place where I could possibly buy another copy of the game (for cheap)? Its not like I can trot down the the local Comp USA and say 'I'd like a copy of gamesass Opus' they'd most likely look at me and ask me who gamesas was, or where my pants were.

eBay or Amazon.com is usually your best bet for OOP software.

Good luck!

Hello

Any chance of distributing Planescape:Torment digitally (via GOG or any other such place) in the near future?

I think it's #1 in user requests in GOG.com :)

edit: sorry, just doublechecked: It's #2 after System Shock 2. Still, it's close to 5000 requests...

To answer your request Prompt, gamesas has no real say in the matter as they no longer own the rights to the D&D universe and therefor can't re-release any software using it (even if they made it) At least I'm pretty certain thats how it works.

Thanks chris, unfortunatly ebay/amazon are prob the WORST options in terms of price gouging. The folks who post used software on there are worse than Capcom when it comes to overcharging. $60 for the cheapest used copy of PS:Torment on amazon right now... guess I wont be replaying that game until someone puts it out as a downloadable game on like Steam or GoG...

Least my original copies of FO1 and FO2 still are in mint condition *precious....* I just wish PS:Torment had come in a hard case instead of a paper one.
