It is really hard to try to balance the feel of a Single Player Experience of TES and an MMO experience.

Definitely one of the better reviews I've seen. I agree with almost all of it.
Minor issue regarding what he said about thinking if it as an MMO vs. Elder Scrolls. I think you think about the game differently in different areas. In some cases you have to remember, "this is not a typical MMO, this is Elder Scrolls" while at other times you have to remember "this is not Skyrim or Oblivion, it's an MMO." This puts ESO in a tough spot that I think may be the root of many problems. Point is, you have to think outside of the typical molds.
Based on his description of groups, I can understand the issue. A lot probably can't be fixed because of quest design and phasing, but there should be some advantage to questing in a group. Even a small XP boost while you're actually playing together would be something.
How he describes the instancing doesn't seem like it would be a problem in towns and most open world areas, but could be a serious problem in enclosed areas like caves and dungeons. Maybe, as he suggests, they could adjust instancing in those areas so the player cap is significantly lower in tight spaces. It almost sounds like the game will effectively not let you solo in most cases.
I also hope the combat is not too easy. Too bad that the enemy AI is more Elders Scrolls than MMO, but that could always be improved I suppose. Maybe they could look at scaling mobs based on the number of players in the instance?
Absolutely correct regarding the compliant of many about the weight of combat and passing through other players/mobs - it's an open-world MMO, get used to it.
Great comments on crafting! True story regarding power players - this game appears more about immersion.
what this guy said about grouping needs to be heard
Angry joe mentioned this as well but didnt go in depth about it like he did but it seems all reviewers who mentioned it have a consensus that not only is it worthless it can be counterproductive for quests AND harvesting.
That's happening all over twitter and facebook right now lol..i think the peasants are revolting
There are still specific quests, dungeons, that sort that are still under NDA unless reviews covered them all, and from what i've seen, its not yet all covered.
In general, you can, specifics, depends on what press video's covered them.
