Guys, I'm getting really twitchy...I know perfection takes time but...These teasers are making me shakier than a kid on crack in front of a firing squad.
Who's the .44 belong to? I don't expect that to be laying on the ground covered in sand...
And a request for some rusty weapons? I know gun runners is pumping out the weapons, but a lot of pre-war weapons are still being tossed around, right?

while installing via FOMM, does it automatically check if you are running darn UI and install the optional folders correctly? or must that part be done by hand?
only asking because i recently noticed that while in VATS no menu/interface pops up with % chance to-hit, only a barely visible greyed-out hp bar. i have no clue what's causing it and am trying to narrow down the problem. pretty sure i haven't used VATS since installing PN (bullet-time owns!!) so i figured i should start here
i have a quick question about installation: while installing via FOMM, does it automatically check if you are running darn UI and install the optional folders correctly? or must that part be done by hand? Since the install file is a FOMOD package, I would guess that would have been controlled by a dialog during installation (I can't remember.)
You could just use FOMM to uninstall and then reinstall, making sure that you choose the proper options this time.
Congratulations on your favorable mention in PCGamer magazine!

http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/01/18/bullet-time-and-other-awesome-features-in-new-vegas-mod/ What's with all of the judgment just by the trailer?
I wanted links, figured I'd put it up. Pretty cool if a mod gets mentioned somewhere other than a website it's posted on, I think,
The reason I didn't post a link was because the story is in the current issue (May) and it's not on their website yet. The link you noted was from January and speaks only of the 'upcoming' mod. All they had was a trailer.
The current story is in their Extra Life: Downloads section. It's a nice spotlight blurb.

Yes
or must that part be done by hand?
Only during manual install, not in FOMM.
Edouard Since the install file is a FOMOD package, I would guess that would have been controlled by a dialog during installation (I can't remember.) No, no options will appear- all will be done automatically.

Thanks.
The reason I couldn't remember is both Project Nevada and FOMM (when used as directed) are so flawless they just don't register—I'm guilty of taking them for granted.
Hello to the members of Project Neveda, I actually feel a bit bad for not helping you guys sooner since I've been helping others like nVamp and AWOP for awhile now.
Anyways I just wanted to post some modders resources that your team may not have seen yet.
Okay actually after spending 10 minutes trying to decide which ones to recommend I decided to simply link you to the thread itself which has an organized list of every well-made modders resource that can be used in New Vegas which is around 400 resources or so at the moment.
Both are the same list, I make sure when I update that I update all of them.
Here is the version here on the Bethesda forums. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1175495-modders-resources-and-new-models-here/
And Here is the Original Version on Nexus which is about 9 pages long. http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/269118-modelers-contributations-here/
Also on Nexus I'd ask you to look into the Special Encounters thread as well.
Hey, have you ever figured out how to handle mine hotkeys?
I had an idea... You hold down the grenade hotkey for a second, and then it switches the grenade select and throw keys over to mines. Press and hold again to switch back to grenades.
yes, it's already been implemented a few weeks ago. the way it works is comparable to what you proposed. you have 4 categories (grenades, thrown weapons, mines, placeable explosives). when holding the grenade select key for ~1 second, it will switch to category select mode, 4 small icons will appear left of the grenade icon and the H is then used to cycle the categories. if the select key wasn't pressed for another ~1 second, category selection is done.
