I have pre-ordered Crysis 2 from eastore.ea.com, for Indian Rupees 999, i have received 1 unlock key (serial) and Crysis 1 has begun downloading on EADM. Will i receive another code for Crysis 2? Will Crysis 2 icon appear for downloading in EADM on 25th March 2011?

I coud activate my code. It also said that it was successful and I searched for the email in my email-account until I found it in the spam folder. Perhaps you should look if you can find it there. I hope you didn't delete it. I still can't download the Limited Edition contents but I think they will be unlocked together with the game on the official releasedate (24.03.2011).

Not knowing that at an input on a site it is necessary to enter into a field of a login, an e-mail address, I have entered the username. Now at an input by means of e-mail, I cannot enter redeem code: (. The window redeem code does not appear. There is a window login and password. If to enter under username the window is visible. But keys do not work. All Cooks are cleaned. Passwords are dumped. I do not know what to do, help.

You MUST include the - (line) between each code segment or else it won't work.

I'm at the office right now so I can't provide the exact location but after I redeemed the code, I went and immediately run Crysis2 and then checked the multiplayer area. There I saw the Scar Holo, Weapon Skin, Thermal Awareness Module and the Platinum Dog Tag. It's under the category or option for changing the attributes of your suit (Nanosuit) and other stuff.

I'll post screenshots after I get off work to provide more info for other players as well.

A friend of mine who was also unable to redeem the code ( He got his copy on the exact day while I got my copy the next day ) and advised him to do what I posted here and luckily for him it worked. I apologize to the others if my steps did not helped out much but overall that's what I did and just so happens it worked for me and my friend as well.

I can't redeem code because the redeem webpages require you to login with your email and password, which prompt me as incorrect even though I am obviously able to login here.

Yeah, what a screw up! All the hype and then they can't even manage to put in a simple link so people can redene their codes. Kind of makes you wonder if they can't handle something that simple, what will the game itself be like????

Another complete failure is the design of the web site. Come on guys, be realistic! Dark red or dark gray text on a black background may look coll but for those of us whole don't have perfect vision it's nearly implossible to see much less read. The dark gray text on red buttons isn't any better either.

If you web designers worked for me and did a site like this they'd be unemployed the next day if not the same day for numerous violations of the equal access laws.

I know that after I get my promo code redeemed, I will never visit this site again and will warn other away from it to for the very same reasons I'm staying away. Keep it up and soon no one will want to visit your site because it's so hard on the eyes.

Worked fine for me, I think. I'm in Sweden though, so I can't really try the game yet, but atleast it said it was redeemed successfully, is it only US people that have trouble?

Oh great, another worthless code. I don't play multiplayer so if the content is only for multiplayer, then its just useless garbage to me.

I've tried all methods here, with 3 different browsers, both sites (/limitededition and /redeemcode) and 2 PCs. No dice. I'm already level 11, so the level 5 bump and holo attachment are worthless to me now. I would like the Platinum tag and custom camo SCAR, but those aren't huge concerns right now. I'm more concerned about when they are going to fix ranked servers, so that they don't just freeze with 1 second left on the timer. :-/

I can't even login to online multi whatsoever, so consider yourself lucky if it's working for you. It also won't let me redeem code thru EA Dload mgr.... I'm about to go demand my money back for the whole thing

I logged in my gamesas account and 10-15 minutes later I got a conformation email.

WTF Crytek and EA. I woke up thinking you guys would fix the promo stuff and nothing! I still don't see my promo stuff on my game!! I got my email confirmation but nothing! I want my stuff I paid for! What is taking so long to get this fixed?

While i appreciate the response Tom, I feel that, crytek is letting down paying customers, are there not tests and careful planning of things like serial codes and what not? I thought i was buying a Crysis game, NOT call of duty. While i don't have the game yet, i will be dissapointed if all these bugs are as bad as they seem to be.

I've tried Firefox, IE, cleared cookies, from game, both sites, out of game. Nothing works. Pretty lame considering I'd like to get started with the multiplayer sometime soon.

This is the last time I pre-purchase or pre-order CryTek games on Steam, what a waste of time & $$$ since I could have gotten this game for less than $40 online instead I paid $59.99 for a POS "limited edition" that's worthless by the time You activate it (it only takes a half an hour to get to level 5). . . the only promo codes that are worth going for are the ones like with SHOGUN 2 Total War which were honored by Steam themselves (although I pre-ordered at Gamestop) and downloaded FROM steam (game is also downloadable). I pre-purchased this on Steam and expected the extras to be available immediately but instead I have to go tho CryTek's amateur site and deal whith their nonsense.

Question for CryTek: Why do You even offer Your game on the most awesome PC platform in the world aka STEAM when You don't even let them honor the extra limited edition content for You like other developers/publishers do?

Seems to me that would be the most expedient thing to do. Sorry that rhymed ; )
As far as I'm concerned every game should be like Shogun 2, where even when You buy the retail DVD version, it is still tied FOREVER with my steam account and I can re-download the game if need be whenever I want and don't have to worry about updates since their automatic.
