I have already turned to the EA support. Now I read these remarks, but it still does not work. Hopefully, it takes much longer.

If there isn't visible progress on this issue by Monday, I'm sending the game back to my retailer for a refund. Anyone in the EU should be able to do this thanks to all the consumer protection laws

Perhaps Crytek/EA will then start taking this issue more seriously when they start getting stock thrown back at them and retailers start getting grumpy.

I think I isolated the Issue. For those, whose code worked, but they didn't get the in game item...

It's the Demo. Or better, it WAS the Demo... I guess you, like me, had to create a new account to get into the demo. Unfortunately, I used the same name I have in here... Now, the game only recognizes my demo account, and not my real account, to wich i gave the promo code. I found that out, when I changed my password here. It doesn't let me in now, only when I use my old password, wich I used for both accounts, it goes along with an account without LE items.

EA or Crytek should delete ALL Demo data, accounts, as like as stats, to make the real accounts work. They should start working on it immedeately, if they aren't right now.

I'm logged in & the page is telling me to click the signin button. One thing after another.

I had the demo - but deleted it before installing Crysis 2 just in case it messed with anything.

I get to the redeem code page - enter the code (with dashes) and even though I'm already logged in - it asks me to log in again. Um, Crytek - just exactly how do I log in when I'm already logged in? lol

Good thing you made an incredible SP game - since a whole lot of players probably just gave up already trying to get the MP to work right or the so-called limited content. Let me guess - you guys just had one dude in QA try it on his PC and then called it good, right? lol

EDIT #2: Just thought of this & may be helpful in troubleshooting - but if the webpage (or redeem page) is written for Java to activate another page (or window) - thought I would share that I do not have Java installed (too many viruses use it IMO) on my machine.

Ok, I finally got mine to work last night. What I did was in-game, select the create account. I created a new account username, BUT I kept the same email information. It allowed me to create a new account with the same email and when I went into my game I then had all the promo perks. Try it if you haven't already.

I was sent an email from GAME today with the threat awareness module code and that worked by going on this site,entering it and then starting up my game and it was there.

So make sure your emails are the same on this site and your multiplayer account. Forget trying to have the same user name.

Did exactly that using Ishbane with a lowercase L (omg so clever), it worked.

Entered code, redeemed successfully, yet no items. Seriously Crytek? I did pay extra for this you know. Would be nice to have it work.

i tried to enter the LE code but the box tells me i have to sign in... even though i ''am'' actually signed in...

at first i thought it was something to do with cookies or web browser, so i tried different browsers to make sure and still the same thing (tells me to sign in)...

i had a mate sign in with his account on my computer, and the option was there to enter the LE code...
therefore my account is ... to put it nicely .... ''****'' !!!

i have emailed support, and told them the problem and explained everything... but i have more chance walking on water than getting a reply within the next month!... (or longer)

i agree with other suggestions people have made on here... accounts are getting mixed up between the demo accounts and the actual game accounts, 'or something' ??

either way it needs to be fixed pronto guys... Please dont let this game suffer with the same HATE as black ops did. or i swear im giving up gaming for life!!!

The accounts system is beyond broken.

I tried registering my LE code with a new account, says "you already own this". So I delete my old account, and same error. Then I look to the corner of the forums and for some odd reason, I am logged into my old and now deleted account! I clear cache and cookies and try to log into my deleted account and it gives an error as expected. Clicking through to the forums then shows me logged in on the deleted account again! Add to this the fact that the game still accepts my deleted account and you can imagine how broken this whole system is.

Crytek, I already have an EA account for goodness sake - why do we need a new, special, account to play your game? It beggars belief that these problems are present even after release. Fed up now.

EDIT: Oh wow, I can post on my deleted account as well. Nice.

So I've found that the redeem code error "you're not signed in" is because it's looking for a Gamespy cookie, and not the gamesas account. Opening a window with gamespy.com logged in was enough to get me past that. Now that that's done it also seems to allow me log in to the multiplayer. What's the connection between gamesas and Gamespy accounts?

FINALLY I GOT THE LE ITEMS !

You just need the Gamespy cookie.

1. Clean all cookies
2. Log-in at Gamespy
3. Go to http://www.gamesas.com/redeemcode/
4. Log-in into gamesas
5. Insert your code
6. Profit

As for any complainers, crybabies, "I can't play multiplayer until I get my promo" - well, promos don't make players. I've been working on getting my promo code to work for 4 days. Guess what? Multiplayer still kicks ass. No one has their promo code working, so it's not like it's one sided and you're being singled out.
