For me it was, I redeemed the code, went to the multiplayer, I played with my first class and tried restarting. When I restarted, everything is locked. My custom class is locked too. And I'm level 1 again.

same problem for me.... any fix for that???
and most important, we can play from level 1 without any other bug and hope that the "special unlocks" appear randomly?

I entered my code into my old account and then it wouldnt let me log in. can i move my code over to my new account?Same here >.>

Finally I was able to download the game but during the instalation it asks for my serial number and it appear to be invalid !!!!

i have any problems with the promo-activation(limited edition) and the pre-order code.
promo-code: Usage Limit has been reached! ??? in game it takes no effect!!!
pre-order code: nothing will happend on http://www.crysis.ea.de/preorder, only a red cross side to the submit box!?

How come everything about the code worked but i still dont have the in game items and such? It entered fine, its in purchase history, yet i dont have anything

tried to delete cookies to clear cache etc... maybe to try to jump on 1 foot and to read some Krishna mantras, will it help?

I had the same problem and tried internet explorer instead of firefox 4 and it worked.
There must be a problem with the new Firefox version.

Just delete cookies is not enough. I have done this:
1) log in and change my password
2) delete cookies
3) close exploler window
4)log in
5) run the game
6) add the promo code.

After i have done all this steps, its work. The problems appear in the game, when i did not get my lvl 5 and nothink happend (dunno why). I alos recieved confirmation e-mail about the promo key.

Anyway, im already lvl 5 so i dont think i need the promo key anymore...

just get the "please sign in" when trying either /limitededition or /redeemcode
have tried loging in with email address instead of username (as suggest on EA's support site)
have tried clearing cache/cookie/all
have tried signing in before loading the code-entry pages (after a cookie/cache wipe)
have tried multiple web-browsers (with all of above)
still just get "please sign in..."

also can't sign in to the game's login either (have even tried email instead of username - both sign in here fine)

It's not Firefox. I was using Chrome to enter the code, which didn't work. After switching to Firefox, gamesas took my code right away.

I have the exact same problem, it always tells me to sign in at the website, even after logging in (using my email as login), the login works with my nickname, but I do not want to risk redeeming my code until the problems are fixed. As a side-note the login in the game itself works without problems.

Promo code doesnt work I have to reenter my whole activation code everytime I want to play this is the worst game I have ever tried to play been on here 2 hours and havent played anything yet. Wow this is great. Fix your game b4 you sell it to the public. Horrible.

BUT:
Didn′t get my stuff!
Same with Pre Order Code but an other Problem: Pre Order Code will not except!
