I have a Limited Edition. When i'am entering redeem code on this site i see "Usage Limit has been reached" and nothing happend! I still on 1 level. I read all forums topics and did what they say. But i still have this problem. I hope you would help me to FIX IT.

The temp. workaround worked for me.

Finaly I got to lvl5 with all classes unlocked *cough* (Psst: allready had it while playing the "Crysis 2: SE" [Standard Edition cuz Crytech didnt get the DB-Datas of itself and/or EA and/or GameSpy in chime].

I changed my email and password in the same place at once - cuz I read, that a lot of Beta- or Demo-user had issues with their LE-Codes.

Worked fine for me!

I used the forgot password button like you said, but when I have to log in in-game it still uses my old password... are you freakin' kidding me?! It's almost been a week now and you still have no solution, this blows. It takes half an hour before a game starts and when I finally gain some levels, leave and come back the day after.. guess what?! Everything is gone again.. whoopee

Tried a different browser, deleting cookies, forgotten password, changing pass, reloging, opening "crysis2pc.d2gstore.gamespy.com". Nothing works.

even when im then logged in, tried all the solutions again, and over again and so on, but without success at this time.
it seems that the known resolves havn't worked for many ppl at this time, I wish to assure all you ppl clearly your not alone, many of us have this problem.
I am sure that Crytek are doing all they can to resolve this matter, im sure patience is wearing thin at this time but plz hang in there guys, the matter will be solved, this i know.

now that I managed to fix my account problem (took all day to figure it out thank you)

the damn game won′t recognize my serial number aaaaand the code for my limited edition

first it showed two failure reports, now it says that the number of usage has expired or some such drek

thanks to the account problem where I thought I was loged on but not with my account as I had to find out
(after the limited code was accepted of course)

What did I actually pre-order? The Crytek/EA/GameSpy/Direct2Drive cookie mystery game!

I have tried three different browsers, clearing cookies each time.
I have tried resetting my password, logging in with my e-mail instead of user name, everything everyone has suggested in this thread.

Let alone that every time I level up I get to unlock the same damn gun I unlocked 5 minutes ago because it can't even keep up with my level.
So far I have 20 weapon unlocks...and still just the SCAR with iron sights.

Hacking and crappy accounts have killed MANY other perfectly ok games in the past.
Or and don't forget the many lawyers who will jump all over a class action lawsuit on out behalf if this stuff isn't fixed in a timely manner.

Take a hint from Valve who gives refunds, free games, and addons when they screw up someones game.

Don't forget you worthless retards.. The SALES page said get level 5 on release DAY, whit LE.

I have the same issue. I've successfully entered the code, but the LE content does not show in-game.

I also pre-ordered for the, Limited edition, but was not able to redeem my code.
Wasn't till I decided to try logging in via Chrome - ver 8.0.552.237, that I managed to redeem it. Have yet to check if content shows up in game, but received an email 5 minutes after redeeming.

I was using Firefox 3.6, then 4.0. For some reason, my login details did not work, when trying via Chrome initially. I had to click to have my password reset, and even then I re-entered the same password; saved it, and logged in.
Rather than access the page through the game, I went straight to the webpage.

Since this worked, I thought I'd try updating my profile using Chrome, because I've had issues doing it via Firefox. Sure enough, I was able to upload a pic of my rig, and add hardware info about my PC.

I've just tried to log into my in-game account. Premise being, I normally use my old Gamespy name and password to gain access ever since the demo. Like some others, I was not able to create a gamesas account via the game, so when I created it through the website itself, the game didn't seem to recognise it.

Earlier, I mentioned how I was able to redeem my code, and make profile changes through Chrome, whereas I was not able to using Firefox 3.6/4.0.
In order to login through Chrome, I had to reset my password, as it didn't seem to recognise it. In the meantime, I was still able to login via Firefox, using the same username and password.
When I received the email to reset my password, I clicked the link. It immediately opened up Firefox, as it's my default browser, and was already logged in.
I decided to re-enter the same password anyway, as my new password; saved it; loaded up Chrome; typed in the gamesas redeem website, and successfully logged in !!
Was prompted for my code straight away; I entered it, and was told it had been successful. Five minutes later, I received a conformation email.

So far so good !! Now, I load up Crysis 2, and attempt to access my in-game account. As I said before, I use my Gamespy name and password to log in.
This time however, I was not able to. Came upon a familiar message, informing me that my username or password was invalid.
Having 'reset' my password earlier, I thought to try using my gamesas account details. That didn't work either.
I then decided to use my Gamespy user name, but my gamesas password !! IT WORKED !! Was then presented with a message saying that my bonuses had been unlocked, and proceeded to the multiplayer UI.

Seems like there could be an issue with gamesas and Firefox, particularly where form registration is concerned.
That, or Google are using nefarious tactics to capture a popular audience

Somewhat of a waste of money buying the Limited Edition, since I'm soon past unlocking what's offered in this edition (the code registers, but it doesn't work once I'm in a game).

Will there be some replacements for these LE-perks, since most of us will have payed extra for nothing?
