I had also troubles activating my redeem code. I logged in, entered the code and it loaded the page but kept telling me I've to be signed in (?). Being a web developer myself, I looked at Firebug with Firecookie support and figured it tried to set so called "3rd party cookies" for the domain crysis2pc.d2gstore.gamespy.com . Well, I block 3rd party cookies (I'm doing this for years now) because up until this very case they've been always used only for ad-tracking technologies.

So, I activated them, redeemed the code, deactivated them. However note that it was a deliberate decision on my part to block 3rd party cookies, it's on by default.

Well I've found out two interesting details that both result in the redeem page working.
Number one is to make a new account, seems older accounts get caught up in the error and the second fix is to have a new password sent out via the forgotten password screen which somehow resets what ever it is that's causing the problem.
Hopefully this will help Crytek resolve what ever the problem actually is.
I personally think the flash that is used for redeeming codes has somehow been dis-attached to the login or the email has been severed in some way.
This would explain the issue of needing to login when already logged in.

I suspect that all this failures have to do with the gamespy account mess

flash got an update a couple of days before crysis 2 got released, so could the update to flash be causing the problems, in the console window there's a lot of flash error's complaining about function does not exist.

something when you log in that says redeem limited edition bundle or promo codes or something. Anyway
im STILL getting the error 'Promotion code was not found" wtf. please please fix this. I know you guys are trying really hard but I just want to stress this issue because I dont even wanna play multiplayer without my unlocks that which i bought the game early for. Well this was my last game which I've bought at release.
I won′t do the same. Thought about BF3...but now...better not. I will not pay money for pre-order content just to be beta tester at release date.
youre right i WAS looking forward to battlefield 3 but since they dropped the ball on battlefield 2 and now this! i think ill be doing the same

My gamesas acount works fine and I can play the multiplayer but I have none of the Limiteted edition bonuses, I have redeemed the code and it says they will be available in game but they are not. I get the confirmation mail stating this but no change in-game.
I hope this gets sorted out soon.

Oh and WTF with these graphics options????

The game may be good but this lack of controle over the video settings is unacceptable comming from Crytek.

This is sad Crytek really sad...Still not able to log in using all the methods described in the forum and on the temp. solution...I cleared my browsers cookies and even reset my password and tried on different browsers even updated all the software's like Java, flash and shockwave player. Still no luck and its been almost a week now....and wtf I have not yet received anything that was promised at the time of pre-order this is not fair. One tip for you guys ... do not launch things when you can not handle them. I feel disappointed in Crytek.

3. Go to the redeemcode page again and click the create acc button and create a new account.(you will be auto-loged in when you create it)

Now the code input page should be shown. Redeem your code.

4. Open Crysis 2

5. Use the account you just created to login

Don't worry about saves and/or serial numbers. It's all there except the nickname

Au bout de trois jour de recherche j'ai enfin trouvé la solus pour valider mon code promo et ne pas retapé le code en multijoueur: il suffit d'ouvrir la page de "gamesas" avec le nom du MAIL et non avec le pseudo de joueur en suite vous allez en multijoueur du jeu CRYSIS 2 un clic sur "TELECHARGE CONTENUE" (site en Anglais) vous avez un carré sur votre gauche pour validé un code promo "LIMITED EDITION PC REDEMPTION" faite le ( il vous l'envoye sur votre MAIL d'inscription de gamesas, qui le confirme "seulement") en suite vous retourné sur multijoueur de CRYSIS 2 et vous avez toute les possibilité que vous attendé. Pour revenir sur le code de confirmation en multijoueur il suffit de laisser la page de "gamesas" ouverte pour aller en multijoueur et ne pas taper le code a chaque fois. J'espère que sa aider certaine personne et en ce retrouve sur le site de multijoueur bien armé. A+

All you have to do is pick a different nickname or just add a number or something to your current one. I don't see how that's a problem if it fixes the issue.

maybe we dont want different nicknames in multiplayer?

i finally got the code to work using IE... so it is FF that is the problem. i don't know why, but it worked. now to see if it actually gives me the items in game...

Why is this still not fixed after a week? I've tried deleting all cookies, a new account and different browsers.

ok i got the items, Scar Camo skin, Scar hologram decoy, Platinum dog tag and bonus XP taking me immediately to rank 5 and giving me 1 preset class loadout. i just checked my rank and it dropped back to 3. so it seems it's buggy. but at least i got my items!!!
