A number of people have been reporting complaints about their promo code not working.

First off all make sure you sign into gamesas before trying to redeem it. If you have already tried and failed, you can try deleting your cookies, and redeeming it again.

If you continue to have problems please bare with us, we are working hard to resolve this issue right now, and ensure everyone can enjoy Crysis 2 to the fullest as soon as possible. I will post any updates in this thread.

Temporary work around (possible fix)
If you continue to have problems you should try using the "Forgotten password?" link in the gamesas sign in box. Some users have reported this solved their problems.

We will continue to work on a complete fix as soon as possible.

It would also be nice to know where I can ENTER the code in, theres nothing on the website that shows me where to do so.

Well, thats besides the fact I cant even log in game with my account.

I've done what was sugessted but it won't let me login with the e-mail I used with this account. There for I can not get the content. Cry-Tom I think you need to crack a whip on a few sys admins about these user/pass issues

I entered the prepaid code and it said it worked but where do you go to download the limited editon content?

I went back to gamesas.com/limited edition and there was a purchase history, when I click the link it say's "The specified DLC item does not exist.", I'm sure you guy's will have this fixed soon, everybody wants their DLC including me. Thanks

yea i agree. this is a sad release..no offense crytek. but anyway you have to manually type http://www.gamesas.com/redeemcode or http://www.gamesas.com/limitededition its so dumb..make a tab or
something when you log in that says redeem limited edition bundle or promo codes or something. Anyway
im STILL getting the error 'Promotion code was not found" wtf. please please fix this. I know you guys are trying really hard but I just want to stress this issue because I dont even wanna play multiplayer without my unlocks that which i bought the game early for. I didnt buy it early for **** and giggles because there was no freaking pre load till like 10 am. thats another thing come on. anyway my rant is done FIX FIX FIX THE ISSUE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. and no dumb responses about how im wrong and they are doing everything they can..just dont complain at me..this is a forum..lets use it to solve this issue not bich at each other. k thanks again crytek the game is amazing (single player wise) multiplayer well i wouldnt know cuz i cant play.

Still getting the same response. Deleted cookies, logged in with e-mail, used dashes, no dashes, ect. "Promo not found". Hope a fix is on its way fast!

Nothing I try works, I see it's an issue you guys are working on. I appreciate it and understand, unlike some people who are freaking out.

Question, though, this may be related to the whole thing. Every single time I try and "log in" to the Multiplayer section, it asks for my serial. I'm assuming this is NOT supposed to happen every time. It will get old having to remember that serial and enter it just to play online :p

tom the whole clearing cookies thing isnt working for me i've tried it on 3 different computers..and my phone..and still nothing. this is becoming depressing now I just want to play crysis 2 before I have to do real life stuff. If it doesnt work before I leave today im going to gamestop to get homefront. their game is actually working :) cheers. good luck. fix this.

hi i still cant get mine to work even after deleting cookies, using 3 different computers and my phone..and trying everything else. i also used 3 different web browsers..well 4 actually. im running out of solutions and patience please...get this fixed.

I agree. After trying all of the methods in Windows and Ubuntu to redeem the code, I still can't redeem it. Guess I'll have to get to level 5 the hard way.

After multiple attempts and multiple browsers of trying to get the /limitededition key to work and failed.. I tryed deleting the "Broswing History" along with the cookies like he said and it worked.. The thing is you have to be on the page already signed in on the (Redeem code) page. "Using Internet Explorer" click "Tools/Internet options/browsing history" make sure EVERYTHING is checked when before you hit Delete and make sure you are still signed in on the website.. once you delete everything DONT refresh the page and try putting in your redeem code.. Mine worked once I did that and iv had the same problem everyone else has been having.. Hope this Help =)

That doesn't make sense Berin. Even if you leave the page up so you can click submit, if you do what you said and delete cache/cookies with all check boxes marked, it actually logs you out of the site. Upon hitting submit it'll ask you to relogin again without even trying to send your key.

Also, was your problem that the promotional code "could not be found" ? Because a moderator on the steam forum posted a little while ago saying its a back end issue with EA/Crytek

No dice, plus you still have to re-log in before you can try to redeem the code.

I've been getting "Invalid Email or Password". I logged into gamesas with my username and password.. then it asked for it again and rejects it. I've actually managed to change my password once, which still worked for gamesas.com and the forums, but as soon as it asks me for my email and password again at the promo screen, it gives me the damn error.

Far as I know, the site functions properly but the promo has a different database or something...

EDIT: Oddly, it worked right after posting this message. -.- How bizarre. Guess it just wanted me to cry a little (pun intended). :)

EDIT2: I think I figured out what I did differently after this post... After I cleared my browser cache, I logged in with my email address instead of my username. After reading the FAQ posted in the first post... It also says that you MUST log in with your email for the code to be recognized... Sounds stupid, but I'm pretty sure that's what the difference was... (though I didn't know it at the time)

Also, you will get a notification that your code was activated and your DLC is active once you enter the multiplayer aspect of the game... You'll get a dialog telling you what was activated.

I GOT IT TO WORK!

USE FIREFOX!!!

its the only browser that worked for me.

tools>options>privacy>clear indivual cookies> clear all cookies> then sign in to gamesas.com> go to gamesas.com/limitededition> enter key again.
