It's a very funny and also very frightening obersvation of modern gaming culture...The worst part is that I can see someone wanting to publish this, and I can see people wanting to buy this.
As sad as that is...People seem to buy games just because of their titles and "back of the box" features. I'd like to know just how many (Or few) people researched into some of them before putting down the $60 (Or equivalent to that in other currencies).
In a way, it is better than before, where there were hardly any reviews and you had to just hope for the best, but the reviews are biased and often give too much praise and not enough constructive criticism. Know how many times I've seen "It's only a minor flaw, and the rest of the game is so great that it can be overlooked" in reviews? A
