Dude i know how to glitch i, I have pro players asking me not to glitch beacuse im getting good at it. I can do all the glitches double, melee visor melee, map, hmg etc. im one of the guys that practice it for clan battles lol. I was being considerate of the guys that dont like it trying to nurture a non glitch pro player environment (proving to be a fail so far lol). I also know there are people out there that just wont stop its the way it goes. Im not a hater of melee players beacause ive now become one to adapt to crysis 2. But i respect the ones that dont like it enough to try and reduce its use.

Anyway Why would you want to practice it :S I found out the melee double tap my self a while back and far as I am aware I was the only one doing it at the time. People rage because they get defeated by something they can't master, thats not the fault of the glitch exploiters, it wont be stopped until the glitch is fixed so players who aren't experienced will be a bit peeved off but its no incentive of the the elites to not want destroy with it, its not there problem.

When I'm playing and someone uses the melee glitch, I keep playing without the glitch. Being against glitch and use it against anyone who does is something contradictory in my opinion. What credibility I'll have to ask people to stop it if I use?

For the love of god, this is getting very popular, there are lobbies full of noobs lvl 30 using this crap and ruining the game. In a few moments I'd rather stop playing, because there comes a point where I do not enjoy playing. Basically, here's how it's going to be: Crytek won't fix this glitch in crysis2. The game wasn't too far from dying off until they released this crysis 3 information and the rush of new people brought breath back into it. As great as that is (hey, more people to play against), unfortunately these new people are learning their "playing tactics" from all the "pros". Which if course includes the glitch because hey.. That's how the leetpros roll. That's also why there's a lot of newer people (no reboot) doing the glitch. You cannot expect a level 20 newbie to have found the glitch when it took over a year for the "pros" to find it. Yes ps3 crysis 2 is a joke. You will be hard pressed to find a full squad of reboots who do not glitch.

FibreOptic is in fact a TROLL and quite annoying. Thank u Pie for showing just how stupid hes been acting, he was also being a dike to me yesterday for no reason.. much respect

For the people who say that c2 on the ps3 is a joke are just plain pathetic, when you have the 360 community complaining about c4, aim enhance, proximity alarm etc... if that's the case why even bother playing the game. like i said before, the glitching isnt unstoppable you just adapt to it and become a better player than they are. AAAAW you dedicated a full length anolysis essay for me to mark, how touching (yes that was an insult). Okay let's start from the top and do the same as you shall we? But because it is still there I have every incentive to use it unless I am respecting the rules of a clan match to focus on raw skill and teamwork! However no one was using the glitch when I was actually playing the game and I only ever used the melee glitch once in a clan match ages ago (when there were actually clan battles going on) and no one cared, and im sure no one would not not want to use it! No, you cannot compare problems and glitches on different platforms. It's like saying that if two countries are underdeveloped, they both are in the exact same situation. Please, stop bringing this up because it's just plain wrong. The glitches are not the same, and the people are not the same.

I am well aware of what ignorance means so it's 'cute' you gave me a wiki link, but again it was still fact that it is a one hit melee on hunter mode because that is what all the trailers implied! So was it ignorant of me to base my believed fact on that? well no because the evidence of it being a one hit melee is evident in the footage, and many people were saying 'oh no it's a one hit melee again' and I am pretty certain at the time there was no confirmation that it was only to be for hunter mode and not in every other game type, so i think it's a little unfair to say it was my ignorance for believing that.

^^ Well you seem to be doing a similar thing by insulting me, but no my intention was not to put people down it was to say how silly the glitch protest was. Also by proving my intelligence to you would be stupid on my part because that would indicate how much I want to impress you, and make you believe i am intelligent through spelling...But like I said before I wouldn't put it past me or have it on my mind if you thought otherwise, which is why i have said multiple times that it is a choice for abbreviating or shortening words to make it easier. Riches, I said Crysis 2 on the ps3 is a joke because in my opinion, it is. That doesn't make me pathetic. I wish it weren't like that but what can you do?

Since I don't have experience playing it on the other systems (other than when I played briefly on PC when the game first released) I can't say that the game is a joke there as well. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I don't know. As for the xbox players who you say are complaining about other aspects of the game.. I can't say that I agree with them but it isn't my business to comment on that because I don't know the whole picture seeing as how I've never played Crysis2 on xbox.

It's just sad that I've heard PC players complain about melee being too powerful, xbox players complaining about c4 and whatever else. What do ps3 players complain about? The glitch and people who complain about the glitch. Haha. We can't even complain about other aspects of the game because everyone's too preoccupied with the glitch!

Same here mate, It's admirable he was 'attempting' to introduce some sort of 'solution' (to the people with the problem anyway) to a glitch a lot of people hate, but not so admirable to the fact he was using the glitch himself, blaming other people for it even though he uses it (and worse practices), and hating others like me who don't think it at all a massive issue but still would love for Crytek to reach out and solve the issues that still cloud the game and the community, and hopefully the next installment.

Trying to do it for a game that is too dated now kind of rendered this post pointless and a little too late, so I was just simply saying that the policy is silly for a person who uses it as well even if he doesn't want too, and yet finds it acceptable to do all these things and expect others and official clan battles to ban it, which is slightly hypocritical that's all.

Personally i started losing the respect of all players that use glitch......
the story becind it is......i was a glitches as well before i started after reaching lvl 300 and i loved it to kill all my enemys with it and then the hatemails started i was hated by everyone and i thougt myself :" hey man common before u stated that s-h-i-t u was a great player(and all loved u xD)...and now u are hated by everyone"!!......so i decided myself to get rid of this stuff and now i'm 100% glitchfree


and another thing to say to all the glitchers out there........"Just come close to me boyz!!!.....u will be an easy kill for me thank u for beeing an easy target!" ;D

Well, I guess if it makes you guys feel any better, I played the Crysis 3 alpha and I can lalready assure you that melee glitch will not be a real problem due to the way that Crysis 3 changes the dynamic of both stealth mode and melee. Also, since you guys did bring up the issue of one-hit melee, the one hit K.O. only occurs when a person is in cloak not if they are in armor mode or in their traditional suit, just so you know. Plus, I am absolutely sure they won't make the same mistake twice as they would lose funding from many of their partnerships. However if they do in fact make the same mistake once again or just are not pleased with the PS3 version, you could always come over to the PC side with me hehe. Bye now!

dude crysis 3 will patch that issue!those glintcher gonna have some serious aim problems if they dont reduse glintching...thats why TITANUX start practicing more with felines rifle laser sight on latest uploaded videos of his....

we got a response a while back, crytek know about this problem and it will be fixed.
I checked before I left work on Friday and I couldn't repro the issue, we have changed a lot of the underlying systems so I expect this was fixed with that, we were aware of the issue however and it would have been fixed regardless.
