The Security Forces started as highly-trained rent-a-cops, then evolved into police, military police, and finally, counter-terrorism! They do what they do for various reasons. some join simply for the extra water ration and to get out of maintance, but MOST Security personnel because they beleive they are doing what is right. They believe that there is no land and no survivors outside the Ark, and to leave is suicide. To protect their fellow Guests, the Security enforces the rule of the Founders, believing that the Founders are the only way to survive. They consider themselves Peacekeepers, while the Resistance considers them Oppressors.
RESISTANCE
The Resistance are comprised of Guests who beleive they are fighting for freedom and equality. They have started their movement for several reasons. Some are sick and tired of only being allowed to due the highly dangerous maintance jobs, others want equal water rations for all, and others still just want to leave. Many Resistance members question whether the Founders have even tried to contact the outside world, and wonder why they are forbidden to leave the Ark. Supported by many Guests as Freedom Fighters, the Security Forces has no choice but to see them as Terrorists.
