Thank you for the interview, Knots! Reading it was almost as exciting as reading an interview with one of the BGS employees, though I don't know why. It's not like I haven't talked to you or SamirA before. hehe From what SamirA said in the interview, it sounds like Stirk will be finished rather quickly:

"Right now we are nailing down the final touches on the interior set to be used making the interior of Stirk. After that comes NPC’s and Quests. We are currently completeing what interiors we can and creating more models for the Ayleid set as well as various models for some of the other cities in Colovia."

Honestly, you guys seem incredibly professional to me.
Only you don't get paid for all of this.
But I guess money only spoils awesome projects anyway.

This is an amazing looking mod. I wish Morrowind still worked for me, then I'd go ahead and try this. Great work, the architecture looks more creative than what was actually in the Oblivion game, in my opinion. Bethesda's work was some serious business too, no disrespect intended.

Anyone interested in concept art? Thos of you who dont think the CS is for you can still contribute to PC through your art. Revenant just recently updated the Concept Art forum on our website with guidelines on what sort of art we are looking for. Check it out!

Are you sure about the head of Stirk being the Mayer? In my opinion, it would be better to be called Governor or Potestate, if not Lord, Earl, Baron or some other title.

Stirk is too small to be worthy of having a Governor. The Mayor reports back to the Count / Countess of Anvil.

I don't like mayor too much because it gives me mental image of fat bloke in suit and cylinder hat standing by a sheriff on a porch in front of some saloon. :)
Now that I think about it, governor probably reminds folks from U.S. as a head of state. I haven't thought of that.
But Caldera in Morrowind has an Imperial Governor, right?
I just think that Governor, Potentate, Warden, High Commander, Lord, Warden, ..., or some more 'cool' historical rank, function or title would fit better into the setting.

Hmm? 'Mayor' as a title dates back to the Middle Ages, at least here in the UK. There's nothing modern about it. Caldera has an Imperial Governor because it's a colony; that doesn't apply to Stirk.

Stirk is just a little island with fishing villages mostly, right?

Stirk is a small to medium city on Stirk Isle, The Isle has an Ayleid ruin, and a few caves.

I find it pretty hard to believe you are quite active on our forums if you don't even know of the island's size. Can't have more than one "village" on it, and while Stirk does have a lot of fishing going on, I'd hardly call it a fishing village.

Yeah, but most of the discussion of Stirk is modder-only. I've had a brief look at the forums whilst logged out, and I can't find anything about how big Stirk is or what's there. And Stirk is fishing-based.

The main source of income for the common folk is fishing, and the main catch is the orangeback slaughterfish

Here, no legend with this and its a bit older(I just happened to have it on hand), but it shows the size from over head. I would say that is probably about half the island give or take some.
