It's about to get even crazier! Tarius is working on architecture as we speak.

Just thought I would drop in and show a little Gold Coast WIP action. Attempting to follow the first PGE lore on Cyrodiil has it's challenges, but it's gonna be one heck of a beautiful place when we finish. Enjoy the workings of Scamp!

If the Morrowind foundations are cracked [heavily bugged] how will the Cyrodiil house stand? It would be cool if the entire continent was accessible but, I don't think there is a PC that could run it.

From what I understand, it's fully possible to have all of Tamriel in TES 3 one day and run. However, what happens is if the entire map of Tamriel was put into the world map, once you get into where Skyrim is, weird things start happening (your hands shake like you drank a whole bottle of mountain dew). Luckily, this seems to be reduced if you use something like Better Bodies AND only affects exterior areas.

Edit: Nice work Scamp!

Wow, what Mountain Dew have you been drinking?!

As long as the Open MW project continues, and they get to 1.0 version, we will see the day where MW rivals any other game.

The Shaking issue is very minor and only really begins to be seen in the Summerset Isles. Cyrodiil is well within a playable range. We may not be able to get the game map extended far enough for the province but that is a minor issue and who knows it may be able to be extended.

Yup. We had that discussion before a while ago. Someone cut out Balmora and placed it to where Atmora is supposed to be. So we're talking waaay out. I played it. My hands were shaking
...and that was about it.
It wasn't even annoying and something you could very easily get used to (or rather: you won't notice it any more after a few minutes). Apart from that, everything worked absolutely fine. The game map however will have to wait for http://sourceforge.net/projects/aedra/ (whch, much to my delight is making good progress) or http://openmw.sourceforge.net/jaws/. This issue also has been discussed before. There is no way of making the game map bigger, effectively. What Hrnchamd did instead is to scale it down to 5/9 its original size: Morrowind will just about fit, but the Map already has a kind of "washed out" look and the town markers are as small as you can make them. Scaling it down any further wouldn't really be what you want. But then again, this is certainly no big issue. The game is called Morrowind. You're way out. Uncharted territory, so to speak.

You can zoom in and out with Morrowind Code Patch, and the map looks exactly like the vanilla one to me. :spotted owl:

That is just an annoyance, it doesn't prevent you from putting cells into a certain region type.

and just for fun.... Another Scamp WIP of the Gold Coast. http://img815.imageshack.us/img815/3598/mgescreenshot2i.jpg

In a world of opposites, that would be some of the worst stuff I've seen of Morrowind modding ;) .

Nemon so funny :)

I'm glad people like what we have come up with so far. We are close to finalizing that region concept.
