Call me stupid for using this as an example... but the closest thing I can compare this to is Nazi Germany, where non Nazi Party members weren't allowed work and other necessities, which it would be the same case under Cassamir's rule...
Keep the Valkyrie mission in mind. Even members of the party can be political enemies.

And Divine worshippers being unable to work gives them a lot of time to be very, very angry.

And the survivors of the former government would be a very big problem...

I'm just thinking of ways to level the odds.

As it is, your side has a massive advantage, and I want to see there be a more even fight.

In the future at least.

It would be easy for me to lose, but it would be hard for you to lose, and that is due to GM'ing and army translations. And I think a faction like this would be very possible.

That's one way to guarantee there's hundreds of unhappy people in Bruma.

Again, just a potential faction.

I think it should be a character sheet we keep under our pillow.

2.) And Divine worshippers being unable to work gives them a lot of time to be very, very angry.

3.) And the survivors of the former government would be a very big problem...
I organized this to help people understand what I mean by this

1.) Cassamir is aware of this, which is why he has a private army of people that are devout Daedra worshippers...

2.) This insures rebellion, but also gives Cassamir a way to negotiate

3.)Perhaps they could be led by the former Warlord's general...?

That's one way to guarantee there's hundreds of unhappy people in Bruma.
See above...

It would also be interesting for the rebels to try and get Aventius to betray Boethia's legion. After all, he doesn't trust Deadra worshipers and only allied with Cassamir because he sees it as a strategic necessary.

Save for the fact that he has literally an ARMY of assassins... tell me... is that truly a wise decision, he has been nothing but kind to him, and the only real difference in Cassamir from say Julius is that he has secret motives and he worships the Daedra...

All this talk of new factions makes me want a sub-plot.

Ofcourse, Aventius knows that betraying you will be a bad idea. So the rebels will need to have one hell of a good diplomat to get him to change opinions.

OOOOOOOOOO.

That is a good idea.

I now use my position as Co-GM and support the idea of a sub-plot!

And just who said you were co-gm... ;) I'm kidding of course, I like the idea and I may hint at the rebellion in my next post...

So they'd walk across a warzone to contact him... not likely.

But it would be a bad move for him to head to Anvil, a hostile city and capital of one of your enemies. Plus, Aventius is still pissed at you for sending the blades after him back at the start of this RP..

Also, no wise leader would risk going into the capital of their enemy just so they can get him to betray an ally..

Well if Aventius sees Flavius, he will put his head on a pike above on the city walls of Anvil.. If he can capture him. That's is what he do to people who try to kill him or threatens him like these blades did..

I'm just saying that wars can changed.

Friends become enemies, and enemies can become friends.

A parlay would make sense...

And I wholeheartedly support this rebellion, I think it is a smashing subplot.

If you do go to Anvil just remember to give Aventius a good reason why he shouldn't put your head on a pike after what happen back at the Imperial City.
