Alright cool... what about the rest of you... thoughts on this battle/situation...
Parts of it feel a little detail-lite, could do with some more description, other than that it seems to be working.

Ok... BTW quite possibly the biggest problem with my writing is that I have never written a Fan-Fic, I just kind of hopped into RPing...

So don't reply to the next post. Also another question. Do any of you like Aventius's character?

Trust me, that is not a problem as such, I did the same, then I wrote a fan-fic and it died. The one I'm writing now is the first I've written since the last one I wrote (which I posted around a year ago). I'm developing a theory about pacing and description, I might show you guys later.

He is different than most kings, he is knowledgeable, but his refusal to accept things often gets in the way of his knowledge...

That's how I view him as well. When I was making his character, I figured of having him as an overly ambitious ruler who seeks to do good as a king. (Or Emperor if he ever succeed in his goal.) But sometimes make mistakes and stubbornness can give the court and nobles a headahce. Also what will happen to him in Skingrad after the interrogation? Executed? Ransomed back to Anvil? (Athell can do whatever he wants with him.) Though how will fadrill get him passed a sieging army surrounding the city? Because as of Midyear 29, Skingrad is surrounded.

Allow me to anolyze your character Yes Man.

Cassamir is smart, clever, but arrogant. He can't stand it when things don't go his way. So much so that he often makes blunders that cost him allies.

When he is angry, he tends to not think ahead, and at this point, he is desperate to please Boethia, who he has sort of pissed off...

Aventius is your typical overzealous monarch, which is a good character for this RP.

He is the antithesis of Flavius, a man who doesn't want his position, but will cling to it no matter what, 'cus if he dies, everything falls apart. Aventius has a strong belief, and thinks he can change the world. A dangerous belief.

This is the best anolysis of my character, he isn't necessarily evil, but he wants to please his deity... who is a morally questionable deity, but he aims to please him/her none the less... I have a question to ask you in a PM...

And that was one of the flaws I put on him. While he wants to change the world for the better, he may abuse his powers. So in heart he is a good man. But can make mistakes, sometimes fatal.

He's like the Steward of Gondor... And if you watched Lord of the Rings or read the books, I don't need to explain.

Yeah, sort of what I was aiming for. But he doesn't have a son he hates with a passion...

And I doubt he'd set himself on fire...

He was planning to, even though, when he was set on fire, it was an accident.

No tomb for Denethor and Faramir. No long, slow sleep of death embalmed. We shall burn, like the heathen kings of old. Bring wood and oil.

I actually did a pyschoanolysis of him for my pyschology final.

I got to show my LOTR lore nutiness.

It was fun.

But, back to topic, do you think the Empire can last?

No. I believe it cannot last for two reasons. One, Lore stated that the second empire fall. And two, The Empire is a shadow of it's former self. Many people will not welcome it back. And most of it's leaders are probably corrupt.

Speaking of lore, I think I asked a while back, but I'm not sure what the answer I got was, are people down if we do alternate lore...?

The best example I can see of doing an alternate timeline right was the Immortal Blood Timeline, heck they practically have their own universe, and I think that that is AWESOME!
