The best example I can see of doing an alternate timeline right was the Immortal Blood Timeline, heck they practically have their own universe, and I think that that is AWESOME!
I see what you mean? There will be no Talos. (Though I don't get how that can happen.) But Aventius will become emperor. :)

In a better world maybe... or maybe it's still possible, though Flavius or Risalu seem more likely...

Well, there is no lore about the Second Era...

And what little there is is limiting...

I support breaking lore.

And non-Cyrodiilic factions.

I have this idea that this RP could continue in some form across the entire Second Era, until the rise, or failure, of Talos.

And, besides, I really want Flavius to become Talos in some way.

That's just me in denial... To be honest everyone (except for Cassamir due to being a deadra worshiper.) has an equal chance at getting the title. (Though I doubt that most people except for Imperials in Blackwood would want the second Empire in charge. Or Julius may not be a popular Emperor because he's an Altmer. So the most likely people to be emperor would be Aventius or Rislau

But wasn't Talos was called Hjati Early Beard in one book? Though I agree that once the story of this RP is over, we start a new one a little bit in the future. (Like one of us united Cyrodiil and begins his expansion into Tamriel.)

And I'd like it if Flavius has a tragic ending as well. He falls to his times, and violates his rules and principles to protect the Empire he loves, and then dies alone and hated.

Or maybe like Sean Bean in Game of Thrones, a good man who takes the fall for everything.

It'd befit his noble motives. A bit like Othello in a way, the good man ruined.

Sean Bean always dies does he?

It would be interesting having Flavius dies like that. And maybe even Fail Talos?

Ouch, he dies knowing that he failed utterly and totally.

At least Vex knew that Cheydinhal would live on.

Because he couldn't ascend to a god because there is no Amulet of Kings...?

And if Aventius were to die, he died knowing that he tried to reunite his country and restore it to it's former glory.

Also, would there be Anti Aventius propaganda books in Leyawiin?

So that's why you wanted to destroy it? If I find out about this whole thing ingame, I might just went on a quest to save the amulet. (Though I will not support the empire.)

I doubt it.

The Empire is rather tolerant, and even has worshippers of "Good" Daedra in positions of power.

It's a lot like Rome, everyone is welcome, as long as they recognize the official cult.

Except for the fact that no one knows about Talos besides Flavius and Cassamir plus Flavius doesn't know that Cassamir knows, it's like an inception...

So Cassamir isn't a problem...? He is about to end religous persecution in his province and he will recognize other religons, but the official religon is Boethiah... make sense...?

You can't exactly spread that easily because it would be considered blasphemous... think of Jesus Christ...(probably a bad example, as it provokes things...)

ok. I just figured an Imperial official or pro Imperial writer would write something against Aventius. After all The Empire is at war with Anvil.. Though I can see the Empire being tolerant.

I was saying if he somehow founds out. (Maybe Talos could visit him) And I'm unlikely to do something like that.

Well, Boethia is one of the "Good" Daedra, so he is only a problem, in so much that he threatened Imperial Territory.

Remember the Redeemed's Prophet?

There could be some interesting dialogue there.

It's from the text "Darkest Darkness."

Boethia is allied with Stendarr.

I see why the Empire tolerates Boethia worshipers.
