There has only been one...

I can't judge yet.
That includes the voices in his head... and the violent headaches and well... you get the point.

They work, but they don't seem to have an agenda yet, if you know what I mean. Maybe you should get someone else to do them, to try and F*** with your character.

You know more about Divine lore than I do so I struggle with them, but their goal is to drive him crazy...

Not crazy, the Amulet is trying to either "A" make him more appealing and useful, "B" try and get itself off of him and to someone it likes more, and "C" make sure he doesn't claim it for himself.

Think of it like the Ring from Lord of the Rings, and think of Cassamir like Gollum or Frodo at this point.

Well what I meant is drive him to his mental breaking point to the point where he is forced to give up the Amulet or he will perish...

It may start pitting his own personality against him. Try to create a second, more tractable personality/

Was that last bit totally out of character for Flavius. I'm a bit worried about it...

No, it just felt sudden as there wasn't really anything leading up to it, it was never hinted at or suggested.

That's sort of what I was thinking.

Sooo, does that mean Charon has to go along with Gauis' warband(whom I assume travel along the road) or does he simply sail there on his own? Or does he even join the going-to-Bravil group?

I'm not sure, I'm thinking they sail up, and him and Charon go again to get Julius, but if they don't, there will be an Imperial Century to make them change their minds,

Splendid! Also, do you mean that 'change their minds' literally or metaphorically?

Physically, as in changing their minds by mixing up their brains with a sword in the head.

Well, I was going to compare what I think for the beginning of the Civil War to the stand off between the two remaining military vessels of the human fleet.

I'll try to see if I can find it on youtube.
