Vex Bincal, House of Bincal, Elder Council Chambers; Engaging: Cassamir
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cassamir leaned towards Bincal slightly and spoke in a measured, hushed voice.
"Perhaps it's best that you understand the true nature of the Empire, they are manipulators who will offer a hand in friendship and then send assassins after you in the same night, ask the King of Anvil."
Bincal was, initially, rather amused. In these times, one could only expect this from their enemies. Bincal herself, during her six-year tenure as warlord, had escaped more assassination attempts than she could count on one hand, and had ordered probably twice as many. It was the way of the world. At least, in war-torn Cheydinhal County. Perhaps the larger powers operated differently?
"Malk," she said loudly, "Would you please explain to his royal-ship what we think of assassins?"
The orc, who had been standing at a distance, approached Bincal and Cassamir. Standing beside them, he easily towered above them both, and was as nearly as broad as both of them put together. The seemingly permanently scowl etched across his face didn't make him any less intimidating. He looked long and hard at Cassamir, but the orc didn't say anything.
When Cassamir looked a little confused at the Orc's silence, Bincal drew her silver blade and pressed the tip of it against the orc's chin. The Orc, reflexively, drew his neck higher, revealing more plainly horrific scars that crossed his neck and collarbone. Bincal briefly smiled (somewhat nastily) at Cassamir before it finally cracked into a genuine laugh. For a moment she couldn't stop herself despite of herself, but she soon got herself under control and quieted down. Re-sheathing the blade, she breathily replied;
"That's something, coming from someone who worships Boethiah, Prince of Plots!" She punched him on the shoulder playfully. "I've dealt with my fair share of assassins. There was even this one time that I wrestled an assassin across my room in nothing more than my nightgown. But..." she said after a pause, "...that's another story for another time." She composed herself again, looking more directly at Cassamir with her steely gray eyes and adopting a business-like tone. "I appreciate the warning, King of Bruma. But I trust no one. Now, is there something you really wanted to talk about? Otherwise..." Bincal said, turning to look at the Arch-Count Rislau, who had shortly before entered the Council Chambers. "We should officially start this conference, now that all the major players are here."
Cassamir
"
That's something coming from someone who worships Boethiah, Prince of Plots."
His demeanor darkened as those words exited Vex's mouth, she then playfully punched him on the shoulder.
He noticed Boethiah's Hand in the background lining up shots on Vex, he warned her "It's not advised to touch a man in my position I understand it was a playful gesture, but I'm afraid my security has been... improved" she appeared somewhat confused by the statement. "I will explain more when you need to know."
"However yes I would like to discuss the possibility of an alliance between Cheydinhal and Bruma."
I need to secure my boundaries and this is the only way possible with her.He turned catching Arch-Count Rislau enter the room
His appearance is that of a divine worshipper, tensions are going to be high with this one."We will begin the official discussion after I meet with the leader of the Colovian Empire, may plots not fall on the heads of the just."
He turned towards the leader of the Colovian Empire and walked calmly towards him.
"Ahh, I'm afraid we haven't met, I believe you just met my good friend King Umbranox."
Cassamir extended his hand in friendship, I am the leader of Boethiah's Legion.
