Orvas raised his eyebrows at Flavius's assumption that Bruma would submit to the Empire so easily. He knew that the remnants of the Reman Empire were somewhat old-fashioned, but he'd never seen something like that coming.
"Giving up our long fought for sovereignty is not what we have come for, although who knows what the future holds?" He said, crossing his arms. "But you must understand, sera, that someone here is going to find allies to aid them, and they will most likely be an unstoppable force to those of us that leave friendless. However, if we were the first ones to find allies, we may be able to stand against those who'd wish to oppose us.
"You should bear in mind that between our two nations is old Cheydinhal county, controlled by disorganized warlords. If we were to ally, we could easily take control of it and split up the territory."

Orvas briefly considered his offer. It was an interesting opportunity, although he still felt uncomfortable with Flavius's referring to the Legion's territory as one of the Empire's old 'Counties.' Still, it was possible that Cassamir was making more progress with the King of Anvil.
"Perhaps; if that was so, it might be most convenient for us to take the western half, and you the eastern. But we are getting ahead of ourselves; I must discuss these things with my King. It was a pleasure speaking with you, sera. I hope to see you again before these discussions are done."
Orvas bowed and walked away, signalling for Cassamir to finish his discussions so they could talk in private.

Orvas walked up to them, tiredness slowly turning his smile back into his trademark scowl.
"Good evening, sera. I hope I haven't missed anything of interest, have I?" He began to size up Aventius. The Anvilian King was clearly just as devoted to gaining control of Cyrodiil as all the others, but otherwise he knew little of him.

As they walked into one of the private chambers, Orvas handed his sword to the guards, keeping his shield with him.
"Scratch it and I'll sick my nix-hounds on you, n'wah." Orvas said, taking delight in playing the part of the strange foreign devil. He then stood back, waiting for one of the others to speak first.
