There are two questions for you to answer and you decide who would win in a "Great War."

=-=-=-=My Answers=-=-=-=
  • Empire - Even though the Empire is a shadow of its formal self, it can still be revived and become even more stronger than before.
  • I would have to say Cyrodiil and Hammerfell. Both would be a excellent province and they both are powerful provinces within Tamriel. Although, Valenwood would be a good choice, since they have the wild hunt with them. (I'll go with Cyrodiil)

Argonians invaded Morrowind and imprisoned the Dark Elves, although I'll count it as part of the Argonian Empire.

I thought this poll would be fun and I would like everyone's thoughts who would win in a war if all provinces/domains fought.

oh don't worry man, its fun. Thing is, there's alot of people here who are fans of the Dunmers like me, and trust me, they will tell you that Morrowind belongs to the Dark Elves. I'd changed that if I were you.. Its like mixing Khajiit with the Redgaurds.... o.0 lol

I'll change it then.

I placed for the Argonians as Black Marsh and Black Marsh-Morrowind Border.

Morrowind is Morrowind and Solstheim.

Black Marsh was one of the two provinces who were able to scare Dagon off their lands during the Oblivion Crisis before the Champion even defeated him [the other one being Alinor]

They were also the only province Tiber Septim was never able to conquer by force despite his best efforts, having to resort to a treaty instead.

If the Hist assembled and ordered all of them to kick some butt in a future war, you bet your butt they're gonna kick some butt!

I have to give this one to both the Dominion and Hammerfell. The Dominion for it's victory against the Empire as well as their current influence in Tamriel and Hammerfell for being the only province to defeat the Dominion. I do believe Skyrim is also capable by itself, but we haven't see that as of yet.

Unless united, the Aldmeri Dominion would win.

As a province, Skyrim. Due to its geographical location.

I think that Hammerfell is, individully, the strongest province. But I think as a whole, the Aldmeri is strongest.

Nation? The Empire with eastern Skyrim is the strongest.

Province? Skyrim without a doubt. It has the best soldiers in Tamriel, is rich in natural resources, the natural land boundaries make it impossible to take, and Skyrim has the best historic track record.

Plus, it's an island. They can't be under attack if the ships never reach there. And you know, with magic and all, bad things can happen overseas.

All three of those provinces have been successfully invaded before. Skyrim: Atmorans invading and conquering it from the Falmer. Hammerfell: the Yokudans invaded and conqured Hammerfell. Morrowind: Originally belonged to the Dwemer. The Chimer invaded and forced an alliance beteween the two. The Argonians later invaded it during the Red Year.

Black Marsh is the only other province that was never successfully invaded therefore never conquered.

Stormcloaks, and skyrim, because the nords have a geographical advantage, and the enemy would need to get across the pale pass

Hammerfell isn't an empire

I think Black Marsh is literally impenetrable to invasion, but they haven't shown that they can effectively invade another country (yet).

And the Isles was defeated by Septim's pet Numidium.

Anyway, I thought you were referring to them under their traditional owners.
Redguard Hammerfell, Nord Skyrim, and Dunmer Morrowind have never been successfully invaded.

Also, didn't the Yokundans basically just inhabit an empty land when they arrived? It was right after the Dwemer disappeared from it, was it not?
And Morrowind's Argonian invasion during the Red Year was not successful.

I'd say that an extremely weakened Morrowind repelling them is pretty solid evidence that invasion is not their strong suit.

There were plenty of Nedic races and Orismer in Hammerfell before the Yokudans killed or drove them off.

Hammerfell was successfully invaded by Tiber Septim after he made an alliance with the Fore-bearers and had a dragon helping him although Cyrus would later defeat him.

Also the Akavir had a lot of success invading Skyrim before a combined alliance between what would become the Ebonheart pact drove them out. Also Tiber Septim himself then again most Nords willingly join the Empire after witnessing Talos thuum.

Don't get me wrong. Redguards are badasses. But I don't think Hammerfell was really united by any particular group at the time, with the extinct Dwemer as the closest thing back then.

I know I'm just saying that Hammerfell wasn't an empty land at the time. The Dwemer clan in Hammerfell came from Morrowind after ditching the Dwemer-Chimer alliance so I doubt they were that united either.
